Here's a 100% legit way to make lots of money early on in the game. It requires some chance, however: 1. Start out as any race. Any race will do, but I used Earth Empire, though the Ferengi may be a better choice due to larger cargo hold. 2. Run some trade missions until you save up about 10,000 latinum. Save up a little more if you can. 3. Go to one of the universities in Andoria, Vulcan, or Delpi, and purchase 100+ Away Team experience. 4. Go around and claim all the uninhabited planets in the galaxy. Konael, Iconia, Gorn, and Denmark are all good candidates. If you want, you can also colonize Harman and/or Kardon, but only if you have 200+ Nav experience. 5. Sit back and watch the latinum pour in. I got to the Sovereign class within 11-12 warps of colonizing planets.

For me, I think that TSG is a very good game. It does a nice mining/defense type genre (In space), but this game does it very well. Also, I especially like the diversity of all of the structures and pirate ships, it really makes you think about what strategy is best for defending your equipment from the pirates. Don't you just savor the moment when your THELS, Missiles and Pulsers just destroy a huge pirate fleet? However, this isn't to say there are a few things I sort of long for in a space-genre game: A structure from which you could build your own ships to fight pirates in epic space battles, maybe a little diversity in the asteroids (Like blue, purple, red colored ones), a new Laser weapon, and possibly a co-op or multiplayer mode so you can team up with friends and be the first one to mine an asteroid field, or just fend off pirates as long as you can. Honestly, this game is quite possibly one of the best flash games on the web, maybe one of the best games period. 9.5/10 easily.

I wish you could earn more shards after each match, and possibly earn coins, too. That would be pretty nice...

A truly magnificent game... The story rivals the works of Tolkein, the music is better than angels whispering sweet nothings into my ear, the graphics are truly better than anything i've ever seen, the game physics function better than in real life, and the character progression is the best i've ever seen, even among real people. I would vote this game a 5/5, and probably some sort of award for this monumental achievement.

Here's a suggestion: Maybe a conversion system to convert Shards to Coins? It would really help alot of people, and the players who have played for a long time but don't have any money are able to purchase things that otherwise would be out of their reach.

I find it much more "humane" to feed Jimmy (That's what i call him) and inject him with Mutagen while he's eating. No grabbers, nothing. And he doesn't even get angry!

Just a tip: ALWAYS make sure you have more fodder than cows. It takes me 4 soy pastures just to feed a pasture of 3 cows!
