To be honest, I'm rather disappointed. There's no real way to discern how one acquires power, since the Dark Knights don't seem to really do much to increase it. I'm on my "3rd" run with over 10k Dark Knights and I can't even take over the first country with 350k troops. -.-
That doesn't seem right. i'll look into it. in the mean time try clearing your browser cache. we just uploaded a new version 10 hours ago, your browser might be stuck with a cached version.
I've noticed something rather irritating with the casino (in career mode): In Blackjack, the dealer nor the player automatically flip for 21. There is no splitting on double cards (I started with a pair of 3's. I should have been able to play each one separately). There is no doubling down (which is basically doubling your bet for a single hit). Let's not even begin to start badmouthing Roulette, as it's just a simplified "Red or Black" bit of nonsense. Oh, yeah, and it might be nice to see a pay-table for the slot machine. Otherwise, the game's just fine.
Yet another Nerdook game, with it's lackluster graphical quality and generic gameplay. Oh, and did I mention that Greg loved it so much that he not only badged it, but will be spawning a child to play it when he dies. Disappointing, no?
I'm not sure what's more disappointing: The fact that this is a rather late Xmas game, the fact that this is a Bubblebox game (which there haven't been many good ones), or the fact that the title of this game was misdirecting.
I think I'd rather play Minicraft than this crap.
Strange glitch: no matter what I do from my loaded save, time advances exactly 1 month and 1 year instead of a single week. I.e. I start power training on Week 1, Month 6, Year 6, and instead of winding up on Week 2, I wind up on Week 1, Month 7, Year 7.
First off, before you start the "it's like Pocket Tanks", ignore the graphics. Refer to this Scorched Earth ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scorched_Earth_(video_game) ), not Scorched Earth 2000, when people make Scorched Earth references. Also realize that Scorched Earth had a LOT MORE weapons and tanks than this knock-off did, and it was still multiplayer (albeit hotseat or LAN). Seriously, people, learn to Google better.
This really is a bad clone of Scorched Earth (seriously, Google it). Things that are obviously lacking are as follows:
-Standard shot that is ALWAYS available.
-MIRVs.
-Dirt bombs (cover your opponents in dirt!)
-Different sized rollers.
-Fall damage and parachutes.
-Shields and hit points.
Also, I'd like to point out that I've been experiencing some issues concerning my power/angle numbers not showing up on my first turn of any game. It's a tad annoying and has me winding up guessing.
