Menu system is a little clunky; could use more shortcuts. Would also like the ability to cue several research tasks and then view all the results when I return.
I love puzzle games, but the visual busy-ness is driving me crazy. The font is really hard to read, the colors are all violently bright and the flickering bits behind the energy count and in the background make my head hurt. Sorry.
I really appreciated that when you get to squares that would otherwise be obscured by overhanging branches, the branches fade to near-invisibility. A nice touch.
One thing I wish were different: on the lower-key (not race) levels, I'd like to be able to shoot the zombies for extra points, instead of having them trying to eat me. I know I'm probably in the minority, but I like my games unstressful.
But overall, thanks for making this! Innovative, fun, well-made.
I'm really confused about what the blue bar and the green bar mean. Also, is the red bar my health or the babies' health? Besides this, I love this game with an inordinate glee.
This is a terrific game. The only thing that bothered me was that I wished the pieces of the ship would snap together instead of being, well, just piled together.
