sigh.... I loved the first two, this game is a lagfest, and has 2 responses to keys, either none/hardly any or overabundance, so lab kills you too often.
Heh, got where I can go through the last 10 lvls killing everything without using potions. Game still could use some more hotkeys, such as 'i' for inventory/items, 'm' for menu (jump to the settings page) or map, 'l' for loot. Also a way to check your current crit chance / item +% / gold +% would be good too.
wee! masamune, lightning rod, frozen tome, and winged boots. Only downside with winged boots is you bounce off walls too much at +3 or so. I find I prefer amethyst blade over magical items due to it being unlimited, and relying on physical power, so I can use cursed claws. I keep amethyst blade on right click since left click doesn't always trigger the particle wave (bug?).
I am stuck on a level. Got into a never ending cycle of me being pushed against up against a wall, so I can't squeeze through, but can't get around the big green turny thing either. It would be nice to have a way to get around this.
Although game does remember completed quests, game does not remember progress in active quests, so if you leave the game almost done with a quest, it will restart if you do a continue.
Game is nice, but there are some problems. 1) make it so you can change keys, 2) keys don't always seem to work, and 3) auto aim has it's problems, sometimes it works excellently, other times it can't the broad side of a barn.
Ideas:
- show amount owned of stuff in the shop (e.g. a number in a corner)
- have reset jump to back to the top of the spawns page
- have double clicking an item equip/use the item
- have better item tiers cost more, currently it they are too cheap (imo)
fun game, the last one was tricky, but the "easy" way to do it was to get the middle one swinging side to side and not just around before you enter the hole.
Advice: 1) be a mage, it makes for an easy endgame. Due to Strategies of Timald and multiple oils of enhancement (see the wiki for recipes). You do need to get blacksmithing, alchemy, and artistry all up to 1k. 2) Don't go below 250 gold when buying things except at the start. Use that money to go to the dungeon of mystery, clearing a few floors gets you more than your money's worth back and might net you a few artifacts too. I generally get 10k on a bad run there.
great ideas. About the shop items being cheap, yes they are and that will be changed so take advantage now :) btw adding the things to the list :)
