easiest way to survive ragnarok:
Use it 3 seconds before the day ends. The day will then end, and you'll get the achievement without having to kill a single dragon!!
beat ragnarok: use it a few seconds before the end of the day. It takes a while for the dragons to charge, so as long as the day ends you'll be safe :P
'Beat' ragnarok on level 3 this way.
Or you can wait until the last seconds of the last wave, then use Ragnarok :P
I 'beat' it at level 8 that way. Used the sword just before the day ended :D
Upgrade system is terribly thought out. Give more money at the end of higher levels, make it possible to replay levels and reduce the cost of the upgrades.
Grab an acid gun, find a corner where ammo boxes spawn and you'll pretty much never get hit (until you get bored)
Keep 2 grenades active at all times - that'll kill anything before it gets close enough to shoot. The ammo boxes should respawn just often enough to abuse (if you're not careful, you may have to do a quick run out for ammo boxes at some point, though)
clumsy controls - needs keyboard shortcuts for movign the elevator (W and S don't do anything... why not bind them to the elevator?)
