i think i see my problem. i was assuming that when you upgraded a tower you could actually make it... well... BETTER. after noticing the math i realized my mistake. apparently the key is just to NEVER upgrade and just make a bunch of basic towers. can you explain to me why upgrading a tower from level 3 to level 4 costs 400, but only gives you a damage upgrade of an additional, 25 points? why would anyone do this? i could get 8 basic un-upgraded towers for the same cost, and not only have an increased damage of 120 instead of 25, but also get what amounts to a faster shooting speed.
firing area still not fixed. place a tower... well i can't describe without screenshots, but place a tower not right against the road, but two clicks to the right of the road. the tower will NOT shoot as the enemy passes on the left, but will shoot as the enemy passes to the right. where the enemies enter and before they make their first turn, place a tower on the left side of the road where they would be going up, and upgrade it. then start the wave. the towers range is clearly covering that road to the left, but that tower will NOT shoot at them
um, when i saw that you could get a score increase by sending waves early, i was all for it! awesome! of course, at that time i assumed that score meant money since the score wasn't visible. now i see it just means... well... score... no offense... but i really dont care, lol, what do i care about score when i get my ass beat, give MONEY for sending early!
i'm not seeing any bonus when sending levels early, without that, seems unbalanced, i.e. i can't figure out a combo of towers to upgrades that lets me get past the first level, also the towers range is either off or isn't being used to the fullets
same as the others, probably would be a good game if i could get past lvl 5. no monsters, no nothing, and it's been 10 mins. a little TESTING before releasing a game goes a long way
BIG problem, i'm ending up using the machine gun exclusively since that seems to be the only thing that these guys aren't immune to. immune to grenades but not machine gun? kidding? it's pointless to use any other gun at this point, you're always switching back and forth, and the other weapons make you overheat faster, so that when you do have to use the machine gun (OFTEN) it's overheated from using the other weapons. the other weapons, which cost more, should be an IMPROVEMENT, not a hindrance.
wow, this title screen is AWESOME, i think i have a high score but i'm not sure, i haven't died yet!! or lived!! are there achievements? if you watch that "hooked" thing float up an down 1000 times you get a badge? cmon kong, this one needs badges!!!!
disabling auto quality also doesn't work in multiplayer, i keep turning it off, setting quality to low, and keep getting booted for low framerate, when i right click and check quality, it's set back to high. glitches ruin the game
this game would be good, if the darn thing would stop zooming in, yes i've done the right click disable zoom thing, but it is STILL zoomed in making it impossible to see ships before they're shooting at me.
why the hell wont units ATTACK once they've been moved? they shoot fine, but when you move them to meet an attacking unit they just sit there and get shot to pieces without firing back. too many glitches
Most annoying about this otherwise "okay" game:
you HAVE to build your defense BEFORE the monsters start appearing. HOWEVER, you have no way to tell just WHAT towers will be affective and which wont do jack, and you can't sell anything if you got it wrong. very very frustrating
was promising for a while. now it's just a click fest. when i click on the shoes is the screen supposed to go completely black? can't see anything in there.
