On The Quest "The Reflecting Pool", i send 200 Archers, 60 Henchman, 40 Healers, 40 Berserkers, 40 Succubi, and 40 Scrappers. Leader = Mina with a Butterfly Pendant. Items = Antidote, Medicine, Rope, Herb Guide, and Buckle Armor. on the Quest return i get the "Found # returning with#" message but i also get a message saying they found some Mushrooms. After 3 quests i went from 0 Mushrooms to 38. And on one of those quests the troops failed to read the guide. Did not work 100 percent, only seems to work when the Herb Guide works.
Battle Report- "Saw a Succubi Warrior rip a Troll in half...." Ok let me go on record as saying that is awesome. The resource gathering is really slow, and i had a hard time understanding the quest, a lvl 11 quest was giving me better rewards the higher lvl quest. No profit in selling your goods, i tried to sell 5k wheat and it just was not worth it. But over all Loved the game, the different units and the reports when you fail a mission giving subtle hints as to why you failed. Watching my town grow and deciding what extra gear to take with me to make the difference. All of it was great, only really complaint was the painfully slow resource income that did not seem affected by the tax rate at all. Oh and the black screens that pop up that freeze the game preventing me from walking away and letting resource pile up LOL.
Gave it 1 star the controls are sluggish, even at max engines the enemies move way faster than you can, the weapons are terrible, and the over heating OMG the overheating.
Easy Mode for the First few levels of any Difficulty. 5/5 Assassin Backstab, 5/5 Fame, 5/5 Training Mastery. Spam Assassins and Upgrade only Damage, sit back and Laugh. Even chews up and spit out Heroes.
NECROMANCER - Sacrifice 1/1(to be dropped after lvl 45), Mysticism 5/5, Dark Devotion 5/5, Chaos Bolt 10/10, Amplify Darkness 5/5, Bone Shield 10/10, Apocalypse 6/10 = Pretty much the only way to build the Necro, Chaos Bolt is the only worthwhile spell, but i put 6/10 in to Apoc because i watch the cool-down and use it when available. A note on Disintegrate and Elemental Suppression. They are just too slow to be useful, you will hit every third slow mob and every 5th fast one. If you want to get the Warlock to lvl 45 very fast then get Sacrifice 1/1 and Shadowbolt 10/10, SB hits much faster and the extra Xp from Sacrifice will add up before you hit stage 12.
DRUID - Cure 10/10, Rejuvenate 3/3, Barkskin 10/10, Twines 3/10, Revive 3/3, Twines 10/10, Spirit of the Forest 7/10 = First, Twines 3/10 is for the sole purpose of giving your Revive the range to hit 2 towers away and is needed badly. Second, after a lot of trial and error Cure seems to be way more useful than the other healing spells, i didn't crunch the numbers i just tested in game and its the only spell that could keep my Mage alive on Stage 12. Druid placement is important always put him where he can heal your front two Character, but never place him in the front.
ARCHER (in order of first to max)- Composite Bow 5/5, Hardened Arrows-10/10, Quiver 3/3, Fletching 10/10, Arrow 10/10, Metallic Bowstring 5/10 = MachineGun Archer with 25% Phys Reduction. Keep her off the front line past stage 10 of she will die really fast!
MAGE - Blizzard 10/10, Icy Veins 10/10, Steam Armor 10/10, Elemental Mastery 5/5, Fireball 5/5, Improved Fireball 2/10 = Blizzard doesn't hit hard but the slow will bunch enemies and give your Archer more time to hit them. Fireball is needed for Ice Immune(they can hurt you a lot if left alive too long ei. Ice Dragon). My Mage tends to be on the front row or second to the Necromancer, his high Ice and Fire Resist make him survive longer Vs. Dragons.
Ah another is just by reading through the comments page i have seen that the price of the game has risen from 5$-15$. So even if the game starts working, there is ZERO chance ill pay for it. Just thought the games Devs should know that its targets dont like price hiking just because a game is doing well.
Game wont load, tried lots of different things, but as of 10:30Pm Est US through 11:30Pm Est US. Nothing i tried would get the game to load past 2/3 100%
Broken game wont let you make any of the special Soldiers, the Enemy "Player" gets a General with what seems like godlike stats, and you cant end the game because his always initiates a battle at the same time you do that locks you into a defensive battle and keeps you form looking at your attacking battle. Also he creates troop at twice the rate you do.

+20 all Resist 15/15/17/15 Stats First Lvl stat placement 1/1/1/1, Then get stats to 22/20/20/20.
After that 2/2 Str/Stam untill both are over 100Base(preItem Stats). Bring Wis/Int to 40/40. You will will always have Heal and Sanctity(Sanctity is a massive heal spell). Get Fire and Ice Resists to 120. Since the only spells you need are heal and Sanctity and you already have them you can Max up to 3 resists Easily. Everyone only talks about Ice but if your a stand still and fighter you will be getting flamed alot too. I have no idea who uses Poison so go for Light as the Third Res and you will be immortal.
Next good Stat Target is 200+/200/100/100, Sanctity will heal 20 per, Heal will be almost 200, you Hp will be well over 2k, Aim fro High Armor and keep Resists Up and you may never need the heal button.
If you gave this game anything over than a 5/5 then please cut your "Man Card" in half and deposit in in the nearest trash can. Easily the Funnest game on Kongregate i have played so far. I will spend hours replaying this one.
Gave the game a 1 star rating. There is no excuse for such a horribly flawed game to be a part of the "Best of 2008: badge Set. The servers are always extremely over crowded. And the mechanics of the game make no sense, to have a game that is part of a badge set be an online game that puts you at the mercy of such a horrible lag ratio borders upon the Inept. After 2 hours of frustration and Cursing i finally gave up on even trying to get the Easy badge for this game.
