This is such a deep game, everytime I play it I find more and more meanings.... I'll share some:
You'll notice that the gravity is really strong, you drop almost instantly. This is like how in life, whenever you start climbing ladders and succeeding, one little mis-step, like walking off a ledge, will instantly drop you back down to the bottom.
At the end of the level the bottom path looks like the easier route right? WRONG, all it leads to is a pit of fire. This shows you not to take the low road in life.
When you die, you don't get sent back to the start of the level, this is because good causes can transcend the lives of the creator and someone new will pick up the responsibilities right where he left off.
When you die you leave behind a tombstone, which is then ignored. This is eerily similar to our massive cemeteries which no one visits, the dead are forgotten, leaving behind only a simple stone marker.
You have such a clear understanding of life, I love this game.

Greg the medium badge was definitely mis-difficultied. I just got it in my very first battle, before the easy one... Pierce arrow shot got both the reqs at the same time...
Very nice first game, congrats! I wish that it had keyboard controls, qweasdzxc can control all directions easier than clicking on something that moves every time you click it :p
More achievements would also be good (especially if unlocking achievements gave you additional holy water to use in endless mode?). Just some ideas to consider for updates/future games :p Art is also very good.. you should have tried to get the game sponsored, and should definitely consider it for future games.

When you die it says press x/k/ctrl to restart, its actually x/j though. And speaking of x.... x stinks! I frequently want to play games one handed, moving from the arrows over to x (for no reason other than its the first key flixel uses?) is super frustrating!
I played the first two worlds and got the backflippy jump. Good game. (found it via your blog btw)
oh shit. that's what I get for hardcoding all these things. in my next game i've done custom controls for EVERYTHING so anyone can choose whatever! the reason for x is that it's just kind of the standard for a lot of games. and now that i've written a class to do it, never again will it have to be that way permanently.

In level 4 I broke the last ship instead of freeing it. The level complete screen came up, then level fail came up over it but I moved onto level 5 :P Just a little glitch. Interesting game though
Nice game, some very clever level patterns.
As sh33p said, game doesn't explain that you can jump long distances, but only to the next available one (can't skip over pads to get to farther).

Not a new concept, but a fun game. Wish you could skip cells you control, sending from the back to the front lines in one click rather than clicking through each cell & waiting
game was cool, but way too easy. Made it from lv 9 to the end in one try, without any trouble. Final boss was a cake, didn't need to heal at all while killing him. Magic was completely useless. All the defense types were also useless.
milkonmonday, you're getting NaN because you never set score =0; It has to be initliazed. before you can use it. Thats why changing it to score =points works.
