I look forward to playing more of these!
It's a very pretty and nicely story-driven game.
I'm sad that it seems that so (relatively) few people have played it....
Wow, I didn't expect this but getting the Lagtastic badge actually made me lose a few frames! This is a pretty beefy computer and I didn't think the effects were all that much, so I'm surprised!
Hmmmmmmm.......
Anybody else slowed down and stopped near the end so that they could max out their upgrades? Turns out you get some more engine power too. But....
Is this a subtle helper for the... less skilled of us? Anyone who can't complete the levels without ALL the fuel upgrades is sure to need some more boost too?
Not sure if this is patronising or sweet, but it's subtle enough to not really matter.
Only a bit less than 2000 plays? This game deserves more publicity! I don't know why more people don't make games about one epic tank versus an army...
This is a great game and I think EVERYBODY here to comment agrees:
WHY AREN'T WE FUNDING THIS?
The principle is good but as a game, It's not very user-friendly: it takes time to really work out. When I say "Needs development" I mean we all need this to be developed. I can't think of anything better.
Oh yes, one more problem: in the third(?) mission when Paszkeivicz (Is that the right spelling?) says "He's mine" about the fighter on the player's tail, he was over 2000m above me and the other two nearby planes and I spent about a minute with him firmly in our crosshairs and he never even started smoking! I think Pasz should try to be near the player when the event triggers.
I agree with the other people as to the pause button, checkpoints and energy+throttle bars but no one else has noticed how valuable a bit of a zoom-out would be. I can't EVER get onto an enemy's tail as whenever I come across one, I can't tell what angle to go in on until I'm there. I also keep pancaking as I can't see that the ground is INSIDE my turning circle.
Bit of a clone of Glean, just replacing the upgrading mechanic with a shooting one and the ball thing. Not bad really, but I would like a LOT more instruction on further enemies. The small and large yellow thingies are fine, but the poison gas green ones and the moles really caught me off guard. I had learnt by the time I met the magma thingies.
Ugh, just put a checkpoint of some kind on that bloody inverse slope...
SOMETHING so that we don't have to start ALL OVER AGAIN every time we fall off it.
I love this game.
Everything about it...blows my mind.
For a long time this was my favorite game ever and I've played a lot of flash games.
Even now that No.4 is out, I think this one is just a little better in terms of overall epicness.
