If you're having trouble with the piano, google 'piano key labels' to see which key is which. The music reads A A A A A A A C F G C A# A# A# A# A# A A A G G A G C. I'm drawing from 10 year old memories of piano lessons so I could be wrong, but it was good enough to complete the puzzle. The song sounds a bit off though.
I ran into the same problem as jbic757... items don't combine directly in the inventory slots. I had to start over when I dropped the eggs onto the plate, then couldn't get them apart.
