The wait time is absolutely and utterly ridiculous. At first, it was 5/5, then when I had to wait 5 minutes before the next day, it was 4.5/5. Then when i had to wait 20 minutes for every day I want to play, it went to 2/5.
If you reach level 25 of the mystery dungeon, then go on the stairs and select "activate" It will go "Mystery Dungeon Level 24" and it will have a weird flashing screen of all the dungeon tilesets (the different floor appearances and textures.) Is this normal?
I've gotten probably 30 Harry The Hatchet, Less Simple Bow, Forgiveness, Bowl Rippers and other assorted ranged/melee gear, but have not found a single wand/spellbook. :(
Money has lost practically all of it's use In Revenant. In Crusade, I'd still stock up on cash even after I had beaten the game, just so I could train smithing/alchemy/tailoring. In this game however, I can't buy resources or experience. The only thing I purchased in the entire game was the magical backpack, and that was very early on.
For those of you who are complaining about the damage system, I'll explain it a bit. 5d4, does NOT mean 5 through 4 damage. I'ts like rolling a 4 sided die 5 times (d=die) Now the die could land on a 1 every time, for a minium of 5 damage, it could land on 4 every time for a maximum of 20 damage or anywhere in between. It's kinda like a game of monopoly or Sorry, but instead of going around a board you kill demons and stuff. :)
The tip to win any encounter;
1. Cast polymorph
2. Cold Blood
3.Adrenaline Rush
4. Pyroblast
If the enemy isn't dead yet, the energy generated by adrenaline rush is enough to cast polymorph, blood rush, and pyroblast again. This usually equates to roughly 2500 damage (atleast it did for me, at level 14 & 15.) Have fun!
Stamina is pretty hard to train, but you only need 300 of it to do good. I have 1k agility, 1k speed, 1k reactions and 404 stamina. I win the race in like two seconds :p
Btw, I think training reaction is the easiest. With speed I'd usually get like 50-60 ea. time, but with reactions I got up to like 80 something. ;)
