Wish I could like this game. Even without the commercialization it'd be a decent game, but then you had to go and put in microtransactions and a pay to win scheme. Whatever head of design thought this would be a good idea deserves to be fired.
Everything can be earned for free, and the entire content of the original game (and more) remained free. What isn't free is my mortgage and my food.
Glad you enjoy the game anyway.
Knucklecracker - resupply for ore is giving me issues in that guppys aren't giving their ore to sprayers in remote locations. Other than that, awesome game! I bought CW3 on release day last year and has given me endless hours of awesome, thanks!
Serious scalability issues. I beat the first 6 missions with double pistols, then with some passive upgrades I beat the rest no problem. At the point that I reached the best gun it was the last level, and I crushed him just by holding down my mouse button. In my entire playthrough, I never bought throwables.
Not sure why people are complaining about the 250k damage badge...I was on +30 waves, double spawns, +25% health, +25% armor and I dealt 613559 damage with 6 shock towers. Those guys will save your life.
More tech please! The tech buildings become obsolete within 10 mins of playing (on normal, that is. If it's longer on harder difficulties i rescind my comment)
It was a 5/5 for difficulty/style. After the finale which was clearly pandering to the lowest denominator, 3/5. This was a well planned and executed game. I hate so much that it was dumbed down for the sake of the kongregate audience. Does this make me a game snob? Without doubt. However, I invite the author of this game to create an ending which he/she truely intended. Enjoy your subsequent rage.
please give some incentive for not dying or reduce redundancy playing. as of now, If you want to level up a weapon or character, play the newest level and die 1 enemy short. If there were another equally effective way to improve your character, that would be awesome.
Personally, I enjoyed the game. There was a lot of lag toward the end, but that's my only gripe. I don't know why everyone is being such dicks about it.
so how did you beat the game? well personally, I used my cell phone. Just set that baby down on the space bar and click at your desired angle. No skill needed.
