This is a fun game.
One really annoying thing though, is the event upgrades screen. The flying "[thing] upgraded!" notifications are pointless and completely obstructing.
Everything is still so visually glitchy. Sometimes the red banners are out, sometimes they're not; sometimes the warehouse is only the roof! The Phase Victories section in the Power tab is completely unreadable.
And while we're here: why do I have to go back to Diplomacy every time I want to attack another camp from the same enemy? Is that really so unlikely?
It would be really handy if, in the items screen, when you hovered the mouse over the little color gem thing, it actually told you what they were, so I didn't have to keep flipping back and forth.
Is there a way to get all those annoying tutorial bubbles to stop pupping up and adding seconds on to my time between races? I know I'm still new but the system works pretty clearly and I don't need reminders to keep coming up telling me the same things!
I have always loved playing these games. You continue to find new ways to make it challenging while at the same time incredibly artistic, and I salute you for it.
The writing is really weak and there are a lot of typos; it got to the point around chapter 3 that I just skipped the scenes before the action. However, the gameplay is solid, and you definitely can't say that it's too easy. I'm still not entirely sure how your weapon proficiencies help you in game, but I'm assuming they increase rate of fire or something?
4/5
You tell a really nice story here. I also like how depending on where you click changes the picture in different ways... Still, not as good of an actual GAME as some others like it.
Ooooh, I dig this! I'll see if I can sneak it in. :D
