Do you guys realize that in the entire 13-year history of this game, there are only 9 players who ever reached 140? I've played on and off for years and only ever reached 92. That impossible badge is not even somewhat realistic outside of a handful of people.
Finally! This badge did not come easy, last one I needed for the 5-minute quest. ;_; While you're able to click and drag your mouse out of the frame for 'auto-fire', it seems to be most beneficial to try and save your shots for when you can get 3-5 enemies at once. This helps you get a lot more points a lot sooner. Cheers.
I was able to earn all three badges in just a few hours (maybe even less). I definitely recommend picking the Paladin, and then either the Mage, Warrior, or Shaman. I went with the Mage, which seemed a little weak at first but then paid off towards the end. Firstly, at the "pet shop", you will definitely want to save up for the cheerleaders that cost 300 and 700 gold respectively. They give you the best boost and it really pays off. For earning money you can bet a maximum of 400 gold at a time on Llama Fights. As many others have pointed out, you can simply turn off auto-saving and save it manually before you bet your money and then save afterwards if you win. This allows you to save time on grinding the "training grounds" and quickly get the best pieces of equipment for both characters. Just be defensive with your paladin (turn on your wisdom aura by the first or second turn for every fight), and then offensive with your mage or other character. Hope this helps!
To the 6,260 people who had the patience to get all the way through this mind-numbingly boring game, I applaud you. I don't know how you did it, but you seriously deserve to have that badge on your profile. Should have really been an impossible badge.
Month 2: As I neared completion of the Thunderstorm Campaign, I slowly lost my will to go on. "You can do it. Do it for Shrek", I told myself. As my strength withered and my hand slowly developed carpal tunnel, I knew the 60 points were still attainable, yet so far away.
Honestly, I don't have the longest attention span in the world, but this game lost its entertainment value for me long before I actually got the 6 sushi recipes and finally got the Badge of the Day. I'm just glad it's over. xD
Some tips: Definitely get Extreme Gardening as soon as you can afford it, as it provides a nice amount of cash early on (Thanks, Nothing!). Go for Extreme Lawnmowing and Extreme Animal Jumping early on too, as those will get you a lot more money a lot quicker. Personally, I haven't bought anymore Extreme Brickouts or any Extreme Star Shooters. And lastly, I believe that if you put your mower all the way to the right in Extreme Lawnmowing, you get that "berserk" bonus and way more cash, so be sure to do that. Also, welcome to everyone who's just checking it out now that it's out of beta!
You're welcome :)
