So I finally beat level 8, and one of the m-fing dragons is one hit from death... it flies backwards off the screen, never to be seen again. Level is just stuck there.
F- this...
This game is great conceptually, and I like the art... However, it gets really easy eventually as in your can level relatively quickly into the multi-millions, and at that point the veteran items are orders of magnitude worse than the items you find. The sorceror is also much more powerful than the other classes, assassin isn't bad, but the warrior and cleric are many times slower to develop compared to their more offensive counterparts.
Nice game, but needs some serious balancing.
This game completely stalls around level 110 and 33 achievements. Level 300 and 500 probably take months as the exponential growth curves are unbalanced. When the cost increases 20% for every 10% base power upgrade you get... it's easy to foresee how badly things bog down.
So in about 24 hours of playing. I'm level 4242, have killed the king (in one hit), have gold that flip-flops between positive and negative I have so much... +1630 Steel Armor, +431 Calliste Sword... base stats over 100,000, after mods one is over 14 million. 51,000,000 hit points.
If I do a king's battle I get another 500 levels.
You know... considering the slow start some are having, and how ridiculously yawning easy it gets if you know what you're doing... I'd highly highly recommend some serious re-balancing.
So the normal fights become almost worthless, yet the King's fights provide oodles of levels. Drop rates go from near nothing, to basically 100% of the time. More gold than you can ever ever use eventually. This game needs SERIOUS tuning.
Has potential, but basically once you run into the first disastrous search where two or more people die... the game is over. The morale lost, and valuable survivors being lost, you can't recover.
This is really disappointing compared to 1 and 2. The play control is considerably worse, and the top "windows" are in the way a lot. This is a decided step back from its predecessors.
So your playing as the child-abducting demons, killing the fairies who've come to rescue their children. Sorry, guess I'm showing my age as a parent. This is an AWFUL idea for a game -- too bad as it looks very well done.
It appears the martial arts skill is not displaying the +40% armor bonus on your character screen. The value displayed is simply the sum of all your equip, without the bonus.
The amount of illogical blimps, helicopters, and planes flying over your airspace is FAR FAR FAR more annoying than the challenge they add. Dodging them at high speeds is more a matter of luck than skill As such... 2/5. The enjoyment factor is greatly diminished.
I removed bombermen from prioritized targeting, because the game became too easy on such levels. However, if it is a needed feature, I'll do it.
