I thought I would never see this game end up on Kongregate, especially by someone who didn't create the game. Like Eternal said, it was un-mediocre who created the game, & it had it's own community/forum board, that seems to have finally come to an end in 2008, or was it 2009, either way, it's gone now. A note of advice for anyone who plays this game, when you finally get the teleportation thing & give it to a murloc who ends up opening a portal, DO NOT enter the portal unless you want to keep playing a small area over & over & over again, or have to start a new game. If you do choose to enter the portal just to see what it's like, make sure you have a back-up save file. I forgot how many countless times people made a thread about the portal because they couldn't read the warning it gives before entering it.
@Kayvex turning off the speakers doesn't help at all, unless you don't want to hear anything at all. This game needs a mute music button so we can listen to something else without having to hear the game's music.
Survival Mode isn't really that tough. Once there's a fairly large number of reporters, it seems like you can't run out of tabloids to use, unless you decide not to collect them, cause it seems like you can get multiple tabloids in a single waves & only need to use 1 tabloid per wave. Also, when the waves get big enough, it starts to slow down the game until you can get rid of enough reporters to make it normal speed again.
Hey kids, you know that pokemon Squirtle? You know how almost no real harm comes to it on the show? Well, this is what the show on TV doesn't show..... Squirtle getting the crap beat out of him, thus ultimately resulting in death, most of the time! :P Killing Squirtle is fun, so this is obviously a great game! :D
This game really needs to be switched to Real Time instead of Frame by Frame. With the way Frame by Frame lags, it is possible to get an endless score, if you have the patience for it. With Real Time, it would be much less laggier (hopefully) & if it has little to no lag, this game would be a real challenge.
Please make the game play Real Time instead of Frame by Frame. It sucks when it lags. This game is a good game, but it can be better if it were Real Time.
Still lagging even when the storage in the Settings is already on Unlimited.
I have a feeling the game is set up to do Frame by Frame, if so, if it's switched to Real Time, that might eliminate the lag.
It could be the computer I'm on, but I'm leaning towards the game for the lag I'm getting. I didn't start lagging until I loaded up this game. Other than that, it looks like a decent game.
If these things could be fixed, this game would be better..........
lag & control of the green object (there doesn't seem to be much control for it. When you move the mouse into a place, it sometimes flips in circles & moves around the screen a bit too much just from hitting an orange thing. Also, the green object should be locked onto where the pointer is, not a few inches from it.)
Other than that, pretty nice game.
I did find a way to make it seem like you can pause the game, even though it can't be paused. In any wave that has red blocks, narrow the wave down to 1 red block & make your mouse go off-screen away from your circle guy. The red blocks tend to follow your mouse cursor, so if it follows your mouse, & you make it go off screen, the red block should stay in 1 spot until you move the mouse cursor back into the game.
Well, now that I eliminated my main source of lag, I can actually enjoy trying to beat you Snape. You are right, the game is easy. For anyone who thinks lag would help, you might be wrong. I was doing much worse with lag.
