A tad short, but one of the better point and click adventures I've played. I agree that the mech at the end is pointless and subtracts from the atmosphere of the whole thing. Point and click adventures are about exploration not action excitement.
This is really resource intensive. My system ran just slow enough to get enough of a taste that this looks like it had potential if only I had a few more ponies in my computer.
I really enjoy the concepts behind the combat/skill system, but there is one problem. Depending on how many resources your computer has available drastically affects how easy/tough it is to play the game.
On my higher end machine at work, it's much tough to play because the dude's come so much faster.
The concept is nice, I enjoy the space fighter genre, however this seems to really be more of a simple tech demo just screaming to be fleshed out. I find the game play repetitive and disengaging.
It's pretty much Freelancer dumbed down.
Frankly I just find this game boring. It's purely a reflex game, and while the soundtrack is pretty catch and the physics slick, I just couldn't enjoy it.
Virtually identical to risk, except without a lot of the nuance that makes it challenging.
Still, the interface is clean, everything works well. Is what it is...
