This game seems to have a perfect balance between the need for logical thought and the ability to uncover elements of the solution through clicking around. Too many games attempt to promote themselves as 'intellectually grounded' because they have a certain method that is incredibly abstract, and not at all the result of a logical progression. Whereas this game can pretty much be figured out by anyone that pays attention to the results of clicking the available options and connects the aim with the given means.
A hint for anyone stuck on later levels: Fill a space that is connected to two others that are in turn touching and work from where the colours can logically go. The more connections you can make with your first colour the better.
As annoying as it is for me to post again...
I never actually used a tower (having not bothered learning how to), making them a rather pointless addition to the game. As has been noted by others, the game is quite easy, but I think to increase the difficulty without improving the controls (especially moving units from a far away spawn) would just make the game frustrating.
Like Nanowars, but more of a pain to play. Adding towers and the like could be a good idea, but only if it can easily be incorporated into the controls. Currently it involves too much effort to move units from an old spawn to a new one.
"Vimes, it is actually possible to get it. You just have to shoot it up not directly at it. When you shoot up for #4, you must aim for the "right bracket". This means your aim line must be touching that bracket 3/4 of the way down, on the bracket. Then you get your Ace."
If you are talking about the way that it has been done in the youtube videos then no, it isn't. For that my cursor is outside of the game area and, therefore, will not let me do it.
It's also actually impossible for some computers to ace level 4 (i.e. the only one I have not aced) because they will not fire from outside the game screen.
For some reason the game decided to remove a load of my achievements, including the secret character (the only achievement I had not received was the paperboy one).
Please add a save option (yes, I know this isn't likely, especially now), or even a limited retry system.
I was three levels from finishing and lost because I never got a double stella.
Can someone please say which levels the doors to the Afro and Adam Phillips levels are please? I've managed to get myself lost and forget where the other four are found.
The end boss can be a pain in the rectum, especially when you are close to it and that damn laser thing knocks you into the hole.
A hard badge for all of the medals would be nice.
My arrow keys don't work and the only other option available on my laptop was to use 8uko...pressing down was a pain. Can we have a wasd option please?
