Anti-Air tower doesn't do anything... what's the point of building them? On level 2 - when they're first introduced - by the time you have the money to build an AA, you can only build one, and even when the air units fly directly over it they take literally no damage. I don't think I killed a single air unit in the that tutorial level. What the heck?
Well I was looking forward to another CCG to try, until I realized that this is an energy based game. I'm not mean enough to score it a 1 for that, since I haven't even played it, but that is a 100% turn off. As soon as I find out that a game uses a system which forces me to stop playing for a period of time after I've executed a certain number of actions, that game becomes useless.
First impression: 4/5
Impression once I lost and realized I had to start completely over: 2/5
Sorry. Can't give it more than that. I played for 20 minutes and then lost any desire to play again.
I like this game. The first thing I noticed was the lack of tooltips and information in general, but the developer's responses to player requests are promising. Can't wait for more content and updated UI. 4/5 without the developer communication, but 5/5 with it.
I liked it, but it's way too short. I spent as much time on level 10 as I spent on all of the other levels combined, and as soon as I figured it out and thought things were getting good and challenging, the game was over. Make more levels! 3/5 for now pending some additional content.
Wow. The difficulty ramp is insane. I got through levels 1-4 with no problems, 3 stars on all of them. Used all of my upgrade points. Level 5 took a few attempts with mana management in the early waves being an issue due to having my characters upgraded too much (BTW, why are we punished for upgrading characters? The amount of mana they cost at level 3 compared to 1 makes them unusable). Level 6 thus far has been impossible. I've tried several different combinations of skill settings, even tried going back and farming skill points, which apparently does not work.
There must be a trick to this that I'm missing. If I use low level characters, they get overrun before I have a chance to setup a full defense. If I upgrade my characters, I can't afford them in the early game and my tower just gets jacked. I'm not sure why I would want to spend upgrade points at all right now...
Fun puzzle/physics game. It was a little bit easy to get through. I'd love to see some level packs or sequel with more difficulty and more levels. 4/5 for me, would give it a 5/5 if it was a bit more challenging.
Well I finally got it! A bunch of Angel Cavalry with Crystal Spears pretty much just freezes all of the bosses. It takes a bit to kill them, but it works.
Game's been on Kong for 6 months and somehow I've never played it until yesterday. Fantastic game. Can't stop playing it. I would love to see a sequel with some more bonus content and more classes. This is infinitely more enjoyable than the overrated Epic War series. I love the customization of the armies. Unlocking new characters, mixing and matching classes and weapons, there's a surprising amount of fun and replayability here. I still haven't found the right combo/strategy for beating the higher level challenge bosses, but looking for it is half the fun.
This is without a doubt the most infuriating game I've ever played. It's not so much the difficulty, but the voice along with it. I... must... beat... it. I have to make that voice pay.
Tried to play this at work on IE6 (no other choice) and got the 1 second game over bug. Just an FYI, it is still happening. The game begins, the demon walks a few feet, and booom, game over. Currently unplayable if you happen to be one of the unlucky ones to get this error.
Well.. what can I say. I love tower defense games, even simple ones, but this thing is a disaster. No speed up button, no pause button, the interface is atrocious, the graphics are very lousy, towers are boring, money comes too slow, waves have very little diversity, the game is far too slowly paced... I could go on. There's not really anything to like about this. I gave it a fair shot. Work on improving the interface, pacing and such and it might be worth another play.
Is there a bug on "Help Me" V2? Or am I just a complete idiot? I've tried about 1000 times to get to her before she falls but she dies way too soon. I finally gave up and watched a walkthrough video in which pink pushes the box down and then lands on top of the box. That's exactly what I've been doing all along, but she doesn't land on the box. Instead, she floats past it and dies from falling too far. Every time. I can't get past the level.
SHOW EM' WHO'S BOSS !!! :))
