5/5 for a really cool, original idea for a game. Kongregate desperately needs more novel content like this. These games are the reason most of us joined Kong back in the day! Well done!
Might I suggest letting Q/E to cycle all the way back around? For example: Hitting E continuously would take you from 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, then 4-1. Too clunky right now to control A/D and run up and down through spells using q/e both.
I feel like a lot of the criticisms are unfair for this game. Fair upgrade scale and balance. Great first game for the dev. Looking forward to their future contributions.
FlamesNX stategy is perfect. When he says, 'run a bit', make sure you don't run too far or he'll teleport directly in hitting distance. Stay fairly close.
My 2 cents on final boss strategy (With wand): Wu Kong Staff, top defense ring (Alexander), top HP ring (Ashura), 2nd high HP ring (opal), top evasion ring (Fortuna), Immortality Bracelet (top regen), Indestructible Bracelet (top defence). Max out aqua tree and terra skills: 'Survival Training' and 'Iron Body'. Easy enough at that point to just move to avoid attack and fire special every time he teleports whilst pummeling regular attack.
Might want to have a new input command for 'shoot water'
WASD – Control the plane
E – Go down to gather water / get up again
SPACE – Drop water
Shit – Shoot Water
For those having issues with the easy badge, refresh you browser occasionally. It will save and update the current totals toward the badge. It's cumulative over separate runs, so just keep grinding.
Tips for hard badge: 1. Fully upgrade before attempting endless. 2. Use napalm wave and rocket launcher (heroic dash will cause instant death). 3. Save you napalm waves for the carpet bombing/many car runs. 4 Collect several A.A. troops and fight the temptation to use your special on the helicopters. 5. During carpet bomb, as soon as the first line of bombs starts impacting, charge to the top of the screen where the first bomb fell. Good luck!
