Heres an idea! Take something done hundreds of times over and change the characters to zebras with eye patches and owls. Seriously...OWLS? Hello??? Pirate theme yet no parrot at least?

Edit: Looking it over, we are going to have to change out the full character type so this is a fix that will come just not as likely going to come tonight.
cant beat a boss? use beam type weapons, face them any way you want to attack. use ctrl+mousewheel to make screen larger. at beginning of game position yourself next to the edge of screen and move mouse off so your guy stays in place then use ctrl + mousewheel to make screen smaller and your guy will stay off the map out of danger while raping the boss with a beam gun
position yourself in the upper front with a spike to push enemies down below and have your guns shooting backwards slightly down for powerful results in most cases.
