I feel what you guys are saying about getting boring quickly. It was kind of a 'travelling salesman' problem interpreted in an interesting way rather than a game. I wanted to see if people were capable of coming up with drastically different routes from others in order to save more miles. But I feel I should've made less levels really. @bluekittycat any upgrades would've ruined the integrity of the score based purely on route picking.
@DarthSaber Yeah it was just a smallish game really. I will add lots more variety and weapons for a second instalment at some point. The health was a design choice, it's meant to be a bit like COD, where your screen gets red around the edges but then fades back in if you leave it long enough... so your health always regenerates, hence the lack of health kits and a health bar.
Also, the shooting enemies do give you a small chance to react, but the style of game is a 'live as long as you can' type, where they just keep coming. Rather than set 'waves' of enemies. As I find that's quite un-original these days with so many games doing that and I just wanted to provide a quick coffee-break point-n-shoot. :)
Actually zuzuk2, I developed it FOR bored.com, and have made quite a few of their games. But the game was still completely created by me. Do your research.
