This is a really well made game, but the monster resistances currently feel very incomplete. Magic needs to be weak against at least one boss type, maybe the trojan horse or dragon. Archers should be strong against certain units, given that in their current state they are worse than magic towers against almost everything. Once I got my hero's damage maxed with some extra HP, I was able to get 3 stars on all stages simply by spamming magic towers everywhere, with a few soldiers to hold the lines, and a cannon or two to better deal with groups.
Overall, this is a fantastic TD game. I love the giants and the way units interact with them, and I can't wait to see what comes next in the world of Tower Defense. 5/5
Extremely easy game. All I did was max archery (except for XP gain, which, as it turns out, is completely useless), coins from the Protector tree, and Freeze Traps. Then I just put some archers at the back, 2 lines of freeze traps near the front, then spam as many archers as possible, and stick with the arrow/shotgun/cannon combo. Didn't lose a single archer on the last level.
I'm level 14, and I just got paired against a level 33, who had over 30 paladins to my 4, not to mention the rest of the units. Closed the game before the fight even started, and now I'm back to repair my units and try again. I will get this badge, and then never touch this pile of crap again.
Apparently I'm destined to be forever matched up against opponents 5 levels higher than I am, so I guess this game is going in my "play for five minutes, twice a day, for the next few months" bookmarks folder, along with the rest of them.
I didn't mind the trial and error parts, since the game is so short and simple. I was always going to have to play through more than once to get the badge anyway, and after 3 tries, success! Fun little game.
I don't understand. I was supposed to be searching through some luggage on the train, but instead I went into the empty room, grabbed the tile, and went into the weird room that was all white at the far end. Then suddenly I was falling, with an endless tower in front of me. So I held the up arrow until I reached the tower, then fell into the hole inside the tower, and suddenly I won! That was the most random and unexpected badge ever, I actually thought the game had bugged.
Does this even qualify as a game? Barely. Total snooze-fest, with virtually no interaction at all; just click once and hope for the best. The sound effects are its only redeeming quality.
Not sure why people are complaining about the controls, I found them to be perfectly smooth. The game itself was very easy (all golds in an hour tops), but some of the levels, while short, had really nice design. 4/5, would love to see more worlds with harder difficulty.
Took me about an hour, but I finally got my best time from about 45 seconds to 96.19. It really helps to move in time with the music, when you need to make 180 turns.
I really enjoyed this game. The only real gripe I have is that the boss is far too easy. Your weapons have a greater range than the explosions from his shots, allowing you to stand in one spot and unload your (otherwise uselss) Vulcan in his face, once you remove the nearby smaller guys. I didn't even get a proper look at the boss, he was basically off the screen the whole time. 5/5 anyway for a fantastic little game.
