There are often checkpoints before easy puzzles, but difficult puzzles tend to have checkpoints two screens away. This is especially prominent on timing puzzles, where the constant walking and sometimes even complex jumps throw you off balance beforehand, not allowing you to focus on the puzzle itself.

The game could even be fun if not for the fact that HALF THE TIME DOUBLE JUMP DOES NOT WORK. The game is not "hard" because of level design, it seems "hard" to you because of horrible controls.

I like how the comment just describes storyline of the game, with "omg thats sad", gets 1500 upvotes... Also, some comments, describing another (, stupid) meaning to the game get overrated. this_is_stupid.
Now THIS game REALLY has future, even without badges. The RPG element and custom loadout are full of win (except jumping, training it is long and tedious).
Ooh yeah! I upgraded my weapon so much! I FEEL THE POWER! Oh, I killed that enemy in 2 hits! Oh, wait, I killed it in 2 hits 5 weapon upgrades ago! I HATE THIS WEEKLY CHALLENGE.
