I started playing NGU Idle on Kartridge yesterday (after exporting my save on the Kong version), and it's running a lot more smoothly today and not leaking as much memory! From now on, I'll continue playing the game on Kartridge for the best experience. :)
I found out how to get crumbling tiles and character selection back in Explore Mode! First, go to https://flash.pm/browser/ and download Flash Browser. Second, launch the browser, log in to your Kongregate account, and go to this page. Third, click "more options" in the bottom right corner of the game window and then click "Enable Adobe Flash Player". The game should load, and your progress from the SuperNova Player will be transferred. + so others can see this! :)
@fruityberry Then what exactly is causing the game to slow down over time and use up lots of memory? Is it the browser I'm using to play this game (Google Chrome), the CPU, or something else I'm not aware of?
@fruityberry If I leave the game open for at least a few hours, it usually accumulates a lot of memory (1 GB or more) and doesn’t go back down. I keep having to refresh the page every time it happens to lower memory usage, as the game becomes sluggish after a while. However, if anyone knows how to fix this problem, I’m all ears!
A memory leak occurs almost every time I play the game, gradually slowing down performance. As such, I keep having to refresh the page to make the game run smoothly again. Is there any way to permanently resolve this issue (I'm using Google Chrome)? Other than that, excellent work! I've been playing for hours on end.
To clarify what @DarkDeadSoul said, here's how to win at 21 Bombs: If the computer takes one bomb, then take three bombs. If the computer takes two bombs, then take two. If the computer takes three bombs, then take one. Hope this helps! :)
@arduinoMASTEH I just press F12 to open the console and then Ctrl+F to search for instances of ".swf". The working SWF files may have some weird symbols, but they all share the same format: https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/[4-digit number starting with 00]/[4-digit number]/live/[SWF Name].swf?kongregate_game_version=[10-digit number]

For some reason, my money displays as "Infinite $", which happened the last time I loaded the game after going offline (it was a finite amount before). Is there any way to fix this besides hard-resetting? :/
