Number of warps for each level: Level 1: 2, Level 2: 12, Level 3: 19, Level 4: 27, Level 5: 39, Level 6: 51, Level 7: 75, Level 8: 83, Level 9: 93, Level 10: 107, Level 11: 148 - I messed up at the end costing 4 or 5 warps. Level 12: 167, Level 13: 194, Level 14: 230. Try to minimise warps on early levels to leave you with some room for error on the later levels. If you mess up too much then hit escape and quit to menu, never restart as warps will be saved.
I like how you can bypass some areas and think you exploited it, but then the game lets you know that it was aware of it. Such as the 2nd lot of turrets on chamber 11, you can warp from the acid pool to the next area.
Nimble won't have any noticeable effect unless greatly stacked, similar to how the other effects have little effect piece by piece. Imagine if a single Nimble I made a noticeable increase to movement speed, now imagine Nimble III on every piece of gear, you may as well just teleport to your cursor on every click.
If you don't want to grind much then don't spend Karma on abilities or gear. Looted gear is more than enough, and the only abilities you should need are Chi Mend for all, Meteor Rain for Prowess builds, Caltrops for Cunning, and either of these two for Fortitude depending on your preferences or which is the highest out of your Power and Skill. Both skills deal roughly the same damage, MR has around a 50% larger AoE and costs about 500 energy, Caltrops slows enemy movement speed and costs around 300 energy. Other abilities are useful but these are more than enough to get you through the game, save the Karma until you've unlocked all areas.
It would be nice if we could see what the level 6 version of skills do since they cost quite a bit of gold. Some aren't a linear progression like the earlier levels in the skill, like Warrior's attack buff goes up by 10% each level from 25% to 65%, but level 6 is 80%. When they're working like that we should be able to see what we're purchasing in advance.
So many bugs and odd stuff. The red dot sight looks awful. The reload animation is awful. The sensitivity is too high, especially with most maps being so open, you're constantly fighting against 5 pixels on the other side of the map and your reticule is moving 30 pixels with the slightest touch. Character models freeze and float in the air throughout the game and can't be killed. Sometimes people show up with a red X and can't be killed but they can still kill you, even if you move away behind a wall and they aren't visually on your screen.
Is the world 7 trophy bugged? It seems that multiple people can't obtain it. I've tried: picking up the powerup on lvl 2 but not using it. Picking up one of the invisible powerups in later levels but not using it. Not picking up any of the powerups and not pressing X, I've done this twice. Not picking up any of the powerups and pressing X to make sure I didn't pick up any of the invisible ones by mistake, and it never used slow-mo, I've done this twice. Am I missing any method of completing the level here besides picking up the powerup on X level, but the description is simply "Powerup not used", well it DOESN'T work and it's all I need for the imp badge, and this has been my final hurdle for the past 3 days!
Has anyone managed to get the world 7 trophy? I've beat it without picking up the powerups (including the invisible ones) but I was pressing X every level and right before completing the last level to confirm this, and I did it again without picking up the powerups and without pressing X. 4 attempts at that crap and zero trophy, which is all I need for the imp. 10A and 100 medal trophies are bugged too, since beating 10A gave me 100 medals, now I'm not sure if they're reversed and actually earning 100 medals will give me the trophy for 10A, but it's certainly not worth the risk of trying. Buggy impossible badge.
I could play world 10 advanced right after completing the game (normal is still locked), which I then played and earned the 100 medal trophy, but not the beat world 10A trophy.
For those having mouse problems try a different browser. It wouldn't work for me on Chrome and Opera had really laggy camera movement, but Firefox worked fine.
You know that key prices are too high when you get 4 of the exact same sword in a row for your Ranger, luckily they were common, but I don't want to imagine rare or legendaries.
I was almost worried that nobody would find that.
