I was so bored during the last boss that I decided to time myself on him, took 5 minutes to take the last 50% of his HP with lvl 8/5 frags and not only did it take far too long, I only took damage during the first minute when all the planes were still on screen and I was learning his attack pattern, after that I didn't get hit once. Bosses have ridiculous amounts of HP, they should be AT LEAST halved with difficulty added through spawning enemies or additional projectiles from the boss with increased damage. Normal enemies also need a damage increase, some of the the hardest enemies deal 5 damage per shot where the easiest do 3? When you get the copter you're invincible even when staying in bullets paths.
Level 30 - Put your first piece on the farthest right side of the straight piece then place the second piece above the boxes head as the first piece falls.
@lilpete With the piercing shot upgrades the Rocket Launcher shoots through multiple enemies, effectively hitting anything in it's path too, and also has much longer range killing anything before they even enter the screen, it also has alot more ammo before reloading!
Harder difficulties would be nice, with Machine Gun and Rocket Launcher the game is child's play, I didn't come close to dying once. The Sniper and Ray Gun seem useless, compared to the weapon prior to them. Grenades, dynamite and bombs also seem useless, points best spent elsewhere.
Level 10 was really easy and quite buggy, multiple times I hit the ball so hard that it would either go through my racket, go through the enemies or even go off the side of the screen, giving either of us the point.
Something that should be fixed is spawn points, I died a few times before I could even move because a randomly placed moving X would be right next to me and moved towards my direction literally giving me less than a second to move (Happened twice in a row once).
I also had it once where a randomly placed circle was dead centre between the line of X's in the bottom right on level 29, it looked impossible to get without dying and I was moving as slowly as possible towards it, dying at the same time I picked it up.
It's pretty hard to get used to but once you do it's not as frustrating until the last few levels. I like a challenge but no game has frustrated me as much as this game has just on the last few levels alone, I may be missing something but seemingly popping out in random areas straight into stationary or moving X's becomes annoying fast and is the thing that gets me killed 95% of the time. Despite being annoying I'm going to raise my rating from 3 to 4 because it kept me going to the last level, which I won't be attempting unless my score is beat.
I've lost my kill 1,000 enemies trophy, all other trophies have remained but I also lost the starting skill point bonus for having all gold trophies, it may have something to do with that last update.
The last boss really let the game down for me, his attacks are easy to avoid but hitting him is a completely different story, when you miss multiple times in a row it becomes boring and frustrating.
Haha me and the hardest monster in the game killed each other but I stayed alive during the death encounter and got the kill, happened to me during Diablo too but I wasn't lucky enough to survive death.
Buy the 3k shield and you can literally walk through levels, I just ran straight through all world 3 levels without shooting and still had 3+ HP left by time I got to the exit each time.
Both level 6 and 8 are easy, level 6 build up a bit and just as the grey planets are about to lose their troops send yours, you should have about 50, as soon as you take it go for the middle planet = win. Level 8 build up your troops in the centre most planet on your side then when you have a good amount of units (I went with 200) go all out against one of the enemies, the rest is simple.
