Fun, but didn't care for the screen flashing white to signal the level being passed. Also, could add a "Back to Menu" option when you've finished the last boss.
Odd bug: at the end of Level 2, I was standing on the portal waiting for it to open, and when it did I went through the wall and kept falling through a blank white area. I had to use the Go to Last Checkpoint option.
If an enemy flies off the screen, take a sniper tower and build range boosters around it until it starts firing off the screen. Don't wait too long; if the enemy gets too far away (about 20,000), even a tower with a range of 2.5M can't seem to hit it.
To keep from sliding into the teleporter, pounce when the 'wolf is as far away from it as possible; after you hit, use the left or right move key to slow your momentum.
About the only choice you're given is whether or not to be a shield. Yes, you die and the family cries then leaves. No, and they die and you get a bit further along, then die anyway. Then the snow covers you up. Oh yeah, and there's no "play again" button at the end.
Found a bug: if you click on the worm-feeder dwarf just before the bird attacks, his animation cancels the bird attack animation, the bird disappears and you can't continue.
Your saved games are still there. Search your harddrive for the file mechanical-commando-2.swf and in the same folder there should be mc2_king_Secure.swf also. Throw the mc2_... file away, and rename the mechanical-... file as mc2_king_Secure.swf and your saved game is back.
If this gets close to the bottom of the page, please copy-paste it, for the benefit of the terminally over-dramatic.
My fps can vary based on the ads Kongregate has on the same page: flash ads compete with the game for processor time. The more... boisterous ads really slow down some games, and sometimes the ads don't allow you to cancel "play" and "loop," or even lower the quality.
Couple things to fix: auto-reload when the clip empties is faster than manual reload; and when you shoot a lupain they twitch back... however, when at the barricade, shoot one and they all twitch back. I had 5 hitting it at once, and they did no damage.
Got 10 achievements on my first game. Restarted and let it go without killing anyone, but no "Hello, Goodbye". "Light My Fire" doesn't make sense without an explosion special attack. Also, how about a pause button or key with options for sound, quality and exit to menu?
The only way I could knock the house down was to drop the obstacles directly on it; the timer after the dike breaks goes too quickly. Several levels the water and pieces kept moving and down goes the house, but after the timer stopped.
It took me more tries to make Pwong Pwner on extreme than it did on insane. The AI is only good when there's 1 or 2 balls in play, more than that it makes silly mistakes (chase 1 on the left, 5 escape on the right).
Where else is it not only okay to run over clowns, mimes and bank robbers, but encouraged with points and cash? ("The anti-clown league awards you $50")
It's fun and kind easy, except for one bug. On level 5, I'm given a catapult that only will fire straight up. If I go back to an earlier castle the bug disappears, it's only on castle 5 (maybe later castles too, I wouldn't know).
You'd think they'd check for things like this before giving out achievements.
That's a good idea! Thanks for the feedback.
