show moreIn my opinion it is more accurate to say (in my opinion) that every drawing cycle (or whatever you want to call it) each stick rotates x degrees, then draws a line between the new point and the previous point. Where x is the value assigned to that stick. Also, the first part of your theory about 180 and 181 being the fastest is incorrect. the two fastest rotations are 179.999… and 180.000…1 . This is because 180 rotates exactly 180 degrees each drawing cycle, and as such only draws a line.
