By "late game" I meant shortly before conquering Xora Tauri. I had a hard time building any further buildings because of both high construction costs and especially the lack of energy. Now that I restarted, energy won't be that important for a while. However, considering that I'm going to have much more resources in this run (allowing for higher level buildings), the energy situation is even more important to take care of.

My previous comment kind of got lost (left unanswered) but the question is still actual: is there going to be a new power plant and/or research we can utilize to solve the late-game energy crisis?

I'm a bit worried. This game started out as an extremely dynamic, quickly developing title with daily updates. Then it stopped. The last update was a week ago. Ches, this is something extraordinary. Please don't screw it up! Include some monetization option and let your players help you with the necessities. I'm sure we will. Just keep on developing!

I experience quite frequent "blackouts" on my planets. Everything goes red for a second, as if I couldn't build or produce anything, and the energy produced/consumed figures decrease to or near zero. It reverts to normal in a second, but it happens once in every couple of seconds.

"Halean Laboratory will now give 90 research points instead of 100" As far as I know it's not only me saying that research gets ridiculously expensive _very_ soon. Perhaps this is not the right direction. Perhaps RAISING that amount instead of cutting it would be more appropriate.

All right, but what I mean is that even some ice planets (e.g. the former Quris ones) lack fishing outposts. Is that intentional?

Something is off with the battle calculation. I sent a fleet to Misel Quris with a power exceeding the defender's combined HP+Armor. A clear one-shot victory with some losses, right? Wrong. The battle took three rounds and heavy losses. Of course I reloaded. Please fix the secondary damage (i.e. remaining damage after completely destroying a stack), because it looks terribly off atm.

I like the way the combat system is changed. Although I would still prefer a weight (i.e. size) based damage distribution, this armor-based one is already pretty close. However, doing some calculations with this method reveals a couple of minor balance issues that may or may not be addressed, depending on if this system remains. Have a look at the armor/HP ratios and you'll see. But there's also a major one: the shield ship Muralla is completely useless in its current state. It takes up a lot more damage than e.g. a Babayaga but, having the same HP, dies faster. This wouldn't be a problem, didn't it cost way more than a destroyer. An increase of both armor and (especially) HP would be in order.

Yes, as I said, i would like to see how it goes and perhaps combining more factors to it. Also I will add more ships and change the existing ones, so don't worry!

Congratulations, this game is really getting in shape! The daily updates are great and it's a lot more fun to play now. As for the next step, I'm wondering if there will be a more effective way of gathering research points. E.g. military technology 15 (that would enable the production of shields) costs 2.05B, while the RP production increases very slowly. Even with the research-boosting research, this level would take many days, and given the increase rate of subsequent levels, I don't even dare to estimate when level 20 will become reality. Either a lower research cost increase multiplier, or some substantial boost to laboratory output (way more than 10%), or an advanced type of "super lab" would be really nice. By the way, when and how will we be able to produce robots?

Okay, so the sand crisis HAS to be addressed *immediately.* Aequoreas yields way too little on its own, plus: 1.) Geology should boost sand (and oil) production (source: real life and common sense) 2.) There should be a building to explot the minor sand reserves of the City and Lagea 3.) You might consider adding sand on more planets. I mean it's just common sand, nothing special! Btw the next sand planet is a place called Epsilon Rutheni, defended by a fleet a thousand times stronger than the Lagea/Tataridu bunch. Not much of a realistic target anytime soon. :D

Also, I can't really understand why Geology doesn't help with oil production. It would help a lot especially at this early stage when most of the oil-rich planets are out of reach.

This New Babilo battle isn't right. 200B HP means I would need to deliver ca. 800M damage in each round to destroy it (seeing that the battle ends after 256 turns no matter what), if the enemy doesn't regenerate after each turn. If it does, then an even more ridiculous power of 200B is needed to get the fleet out of the way.
