Well what do you know; another crappy multiplayer game with an anime-esque heroin with cleavage on the cover. The originality already has me hooked. Here, take my money.
This is a fun game, but the one thing that always breaks it is the out-of-nowhere arty strikes that are almost guaranteed to kill everything. It just kinda breaks the fun when you can be killed entirely at random, and there is nothing you can do to stop it. All these new, flashy updates will never fix that so long as your entire squad can be one-shotted by arty. It also doesn't help that a lot of the new stuff is expensive enough that they'll be used once or twice out of curiosity, then never again as the player goes back to inexpensive infantry tactics.
There appears to be something wrong with the resource management. It says I have resources in the pool, but they are not being used to build, and they are not being stored at any depots, so where are my resources if they are not being used?
Anyone else see something wrong with the odds in this game? I don't want to sound like I'm just complaining, but it's far to often that you'll have some large battle between armies with 15 troops and they lose no troops in the attack. This almost seems to happen more often than not.
I'll admit this is rather disappointing. I got excited by the idea of creating my own tank, and there are several types of weapons that can be attached. The issue is that there is always a severe shortage of gun points. You never have enough to keep up with the increasing health of your enemies, and you end up fighting through several levels with just the basics. This manages to make what weapons you do manage to afford monotonous and boring. Still fun overall, but a bit of a letdown in terms of actual customizing. We're attracted by the possibilities then taunted by their price, reduced to having them dangle in front of us, out of reach.
My only complaint would be on the moral ssystem, I've had 6 healthy armies to one damaged enemy army, but i lost due to morale. A little moediversity in the units would not hurt either
