It is a very good idea, the execution of it isn't too bad either.
I tested it by showing my friend who'd never played kong before, they learnt the things they needed to know about kong in a very short amount of time.

Final Boss. Press s,d,f once all with 1/2 second gap between each other, then hold asdf and click on chat window. This gives you a constant stream of all arrows at max frequency,with the specials spread out.(works for earlier levels too) Aim these at the bade of the end demon, mainly by aiming them very high in the air. Send angels when they're ready and spam him constantly with hobbits. This should kill him by time he's 3/4's way through the level.
This game is annoying. Sorry,but it really is.
As soon as you get hit by the bosses you may aswell go make a drink,maybe they'll have finished pounding you by the time you return. No in-game pause or mute.
Didn't find the in-game instructions either...but have managed to suss it all out I think. Anyone need some help with anything? Good game, lots of hours wasted :p
To Botski and Bionicbeetle: It is true that asteroid belts are sparse, but who is to say what the scale of the game is? There is no reason to think that spaceships of the future couldn't be as large as planets! Anyway, decent game - but need to go the extra mile if you want to see it rated higher.
I think its a great idea, and well executed! I think it would be nice to have a life system or at least a retry option - it's a bit annoying to keep restarting on the lowest level just because I mess up.
I don't usually comment on games...but this one is brilliant. Problem is I dont know which badges I'm missing, can anyone help? 5/5 and my only favourite.
No point in cheating.
I stuck with cruisers all the way keeping them together (never managed to get more than 6), used control drones as decoys, upgraded when I could and after wave 2-4 I got my first repair drone.
Later on when the missiles came I set up an outer perimeter of 5 repair drones (lose 20ore instead of 100)
This got me to lev35.
