This comment by Wyrd42 is so important:
A few keys to mastering this game: 1 Mana is life. Embrace the mana. Seek only the mana. Seriously. 2 Never use teleports. Those early easy fights are essential to charge your mana. 3 All equipment has two stats. The top number is meaningless. The bottom number shows how much mana you get per tile, in a % modifier to base mana. 4: Best cards: Magic Channel, Second wind, Divine protection, Healing herbs, and Fist of Fury. 5. Don't use bard. Use paladin or Monk on yellow. Wihtout these things, later levels become unbeatable to lack of mana.
What is the 3rd campaign node? I played this on my iPad and got all the stars on the first board, Elaria, but I don't have the Swords and Souls bonus yet.
Thank you! I'm trying very hard to keep updating it, and not losing my cool at all the incredibly toxic / rude comments I' reading *Cracks a slight smile* hehe..
Even with the full money upgrade, this game is extremely grindy. Replaying levels gives way too low money to make it worthwhile. The gameplay is fun, the game is just very unbalanced.
This game badly needs a pause button. Also, why are we penalized on a timed round if there are no more moves left? We shouldn't be losing seconds while the game gives us a new board.
Today is the last day some Learn to Fly player will live and they will die knowing life is a cruel joke. I kinda hope you show up at their funeral and yell, "April Fools!"
This is a nice, calming game and I like the encouragement to read things on Wikipedia. I don't understand what I'm doing, but it's a nice, calming game.
The skins are open source from a design competition. Both this game and Realm of the Mad God have used them. They're still out there and can be used by anyone.
