After many many hours across almost as many days I finally got the impossible badge. Great job implementing the changes to you game J4nw. After the recent changes I think you've found a good skill:RNG balance.
Decent 1st game, nice work. There is much to be done though.
-The "hold to play" thing is kinda annoying.
- interface issues. The frame of the game is ugly, needs work. (get rid of scroll bars, make the window a better shape, and get rid of that bitcoin ad on the top of your game.) Also, the end-level screen is buggy for me, and doesn't work well. I can't click continue like the first 30 times I try.
Its a shame that this game is actually fun for an idle game. Probably the best in the genre. I understand game studios need to make money, but this is just too much of a cash grab for me to keep playing.
Yes, how dare a Game dev attempt to make money. How dare they also let us choose to play the game for free instead and still make it perfectly playable and beatable. Those jerks.
For those of you going for the impossible badge I have found this to be an effective strategy: Instead of using the final troll-face "outfit",try using the second to last one with "cool shades". During the game try to focus on using your death ray on giant blues. For giant reds use your shield and ram them. Giants blues die this way too, it just isn't as effective. Try to save your shockwaves for hoards of shooting greens, round greens, purples, and blues. for large hoards of oranges, small reds, and those grey ones that shoot death rays, move in large circles around the game screen and try sticking with your gun if possible. Everything recharges pretty quickly so all of these tips have obvious exceptions if you are in a tight spot. Hope this helps!
I agree with chriscubed here. Great game, like all the toge games I've played before this one, but it shouldn't be this much of a grind just to get a medium badge.
