This game is awesome. My only complaint is the lack of a medal for killing the Zombie Dragon.
I love the story, both the serious and whimsical side. The characters are nicely varied. And the variety of attack styles in both characters and bosses is great. It would be nice if Meraeador had some multi-function tools in the next chapter, but I do like the way his setup works.
But, yeah, please retroactively add a medal for killing the Zombie Dragon.
Did you know? The red slimes are cranberry flavored.
My only complaint is that dying takes you to the city, and not to the forest. So when you revive, you won't continue gaining experience, thus taking away from the pure idlenessitude.
"Here be dragons" is mathematically impossible to obtain.
You have only 1 year in which you can work on Dragon Training. And can only spend 2 weeks on it before you need to rest. Even going DT, DT, R, DT, DT, R, ... for the whole year and nothing else, the percent you reach on Dragon Training is only 75.6.
This game is fine but... well, it just isn't fun in the ways that the previous ones were. The lack of Aces to find is part of that, although perhaps they show up further in the game than I yet am.
My statistics show that I've spent 100,525 gold.
But I don't yet have the award for winning over 100,000.
Mind you, a 1% interest rate between rounds is utterly, completely, stupidly useless. But still.
There is, for some reason, a dock that lets you walk into upper left river. You can travel the river outside the bounds of the map, which makes you appear on the other side. But you can no longer move, and you cycle through all the armor and attacks wildly.
Also, the Champion Gauntlets, when equipped, do not have artwork that appears on the character model.
Other than these bugs, a very good game. Alternate text endings depending on what factions you chose would be nice, though.
I am so addicted to this game.
About the only change I would want is in the reverse mitosis. Specifically, making it so that an Oozle can join with any other goople to form a new type. Joining with a Biter would make a Horror, and joining with a Sharp would make a Gray. Another green one would make an Amalgam, and something new would be made if it joins with a Stickie, Meltie, Clutter, ect.
At any rate, I just won.
So go me.
The game isn't bad, but it would be nice if the physics were a little cleaner. And if the map defaulted to whichever zone you are currently in, instead of always the left one.
This game is awesome. I'm quite addicted.
It is a little frustrating knowing that I'll never be good enough to get the Bronto egg... but that isn't a fault of the game.
Here's hoping for a sequel.
