The best parts of the game are the facts that you can create any weapon you want and resell them for full 100% value. Btw, never make a "best weapons" section because i can guarantee that everybody wiill upload colorful penises. And im no exception. :)
this game seems too simple. For some people, that can actually be a good thing. Games like these don't really NEED to get too complex but it would make them even better. You could add something like quests/levels with different scenarios and different looking tracks. Upgrades would probably ruin the highscore system, but you could have a free run with upgrades not allowed. Powerups too, and i could go on. But the thing that would definitely leave all the other games like this into dust would be MULTIPLAYER. Multiplayer races to compete with friends, and others all around the world.

Its called a desync error. Your opponent may have not been the nicest guy around,but he did not disconnect you. Maybe you have a faulty internet or just a slow one.
Peus they do that so that you don't keep quitting till you get a newbie (maybe you) and get an easy win. That would be unfair. If you want to win every time w/o paying then challenge level 0,1, duel a friend etc.
I love this game so much. I've never played populous, but this game seems to be like a less in depth version of Age of Empires. I used to play that game every day! It also somehow with the sound on gives me an odd flash of Roller Coaster Tycoon :/. Anyways 5/5 great game!
