I got to the final dudes but they were too strong. I was able to defend against them so they didn't gain any ground but I couldn't either. While they had seemingly an endless money supply mine was running out and it got real boring going back and forth without any noticeable gain.
ok and ditching the fighter means everything just attacks the main ship, this game is stupidly hard on hard, I agree with someone else here who said give us an extra 100 starting I don't think that would do it but it's better to start small.
I think I'm going to try and sell the fighter and just get them later on like after chapter 3, it's sad I only get 8 ru for selling it though, I should be able to replace it with at least a single laser turret.
I've got all 3 of the last wave in chapter 3 on hard mode but then the adds killed me. Any suggestions? I've tried mass upgrading my main weapon, massing laser turrets, massing fighters, a healthy combination of either 2 or all 3, and nothing seems to work. Once I got my health back to around 75% then that last wave completely destroyed me. I wish my fighter wouldn't fly off screen first thing, it makes things impossible to hit and thus end up attacking me far longer. This game seems mostly based on luck.
