Praise: 1) The game is really fun when I'm not redoing stuff cause I died. 2) Being able to have a pet of any of the enemies is really nice. A lot of games limit which ones you can get for some reason.. 3) So cute re using the mouse all the time as it is, anyway. 3) Storage..that way if having four shards is too much for you, you can switch off. 4) Playing with your pets. ^^ Tamagotchi-like I guess.
Concerns: 1) Only three pet spaces available? :( I like having my options open, it'd be nice if you could store more than that (perhaps put them to sleep and pile them in a cave..? xD) 2) Sometimes when I double-click an enemy to attack, my pet steps in front of me and cancels my movement. He subsequently gets attacked. This can be very annoying. 3) Especially in the forest, you can't see worth shit. There really needs to be a transparency thing going on. 4) Sometimes you can't click and item that's directly up-left from you, I think it thinks you're in the way or something. Blech. 5) Controls are mostly okay imo, but yeah, the no pet/attack/ability hotkeys is kind of annoying. Also tabbing through enemies would be nice. 6) If there is storage eventually, it'd b nice to be able to buy items past your level and just not be able to equip them. Ear-marking your money, you know?
This is three-part, apparently.. Complaints: 1) The Iikwid screen takes way too long to pass without a skip button. 2) There's no way to restart from save quickly without dying, which can take a while (and refreshing just causes the annoyance above). 3) There's no simple way to view you inventory/quests in town, which in turn means you can't equip gear in town. 4) Inventory is a little small. I can understand the size and need to have magical components in your inventory, but you're WEARING armor, it's not in your inventory and it really shouldn't be represented there. So add an equipment screen and take what's equipped out of your inventory. 5) Not having field saves makes things take to long (repeating gameplay) and significantly less fun. At least have some points in the field where you're allowed to save, or make feathers cheaper and/or drops.
@ericbloedow; Yeah it's definitely a Grow clone, but Grow island was one of the last! Grow ver. 3 was the first Grow (I've been playing it since it came out, the series is genius!) This was a pretty good clone though. :3 Cute too.

Oh one thing I would suggest is some more controls..like use numbers to switch between weapons, and ctrl or something to fire. Having to click repeatedly in a game is not a good idea cause it's hard on the mouse.
Interesting. But it seems when I try to place a brick over Mario it kills him, even if there's a space there. Such as, I have an L brick rotated 180 degrees (so it's like the upper right corner of a square), then tried to place it one space to the right of him. Although no brick was touching him, it killed him. :|
