I do like the game, though, that's just some frustrating issues. (Hit submit button too early.)

No pause function? I dunno about you, but I get interrupted from things, I don't want to have to start over when (not if) it happens. Also, the X button just takes you to the main menu instantly, could use a confirmation (which could double as a pause :) ).

Right mouse button = instant game over? I don't think that's ok. I twitch open the thing too dang much :P. Also, I just figured that this has nothing to do with Babylon 5's Vorlons, since it makes no sense in that regard ^_^

It's ok. Don't start a new game and go into the team editor before doing the first mission; I got a confused squire profession unlock that didn't reference an initialized price variable (or something) which could still take your money and slot-machine-wheel-ing character slots, then when I did try to enter the level it had no characters and I had to reload the page >_>.

This is probably my favorite of your 12-ish-tower (where the first two towers always seem to do 80 and 29 damage ;)) tower defense games. The music and the slightly less cliff-like starting setup curve probably have something to do with it.

I don't like the limited tower spots. Some indication of which way they're going to come into a level from would be nice, as would be a menu/restart button (for when you've realized that you got the direction wrong) and any way to pause the thing (people have to go to the bathroom, their cats catch on fire, etc.)

With your tower shapes and tile sizes, I'd really suggest fixing the towers to a grid or making their placement footprint about 75% of its current size (allowing graphical overlap); as it is, I could only fit 3 towers on the island that looks like it should hold 8 on the second map, and placing anything on a single-tile-wide strip is annoying.

It's not really my thing but I like the music a lot. UI glitch: numbers are printing in some generic font, not the one you use for most of the text, and the bottoms tend to get cut off; makes bomb count and such a little hard to read.

I second the comment on clicking through walls; it's annoying to have camera angle (plus incidental architecture like doors) prevent your guy from shooting something right in front of them. A few more things to do with the aliens would be interesting too; maybe a distraction (hunk of meat?) so you could actually run away sometimes or lure them to barrels. I didn't manage to do anything with barrels except hurt myself. Also, they should probably explode adjacent barrels and possibly damage other items. (Sorry about the multipost! I hit post too soon the first time and then ran into the character limit the second time. Sorry if this is all a bit rambly and long, too, but I liked the game enough to end up thinking a lot about how I'd like to see it improve ... :))

There is a lot of potential here, too, though. A few more kinds of things to do would be great. Alternate equipment, ability points. Some more things to do with the computer, say view security (infrared?) cameras and possibly kill off a couple aliens via something remote-controlled if you get lucky. ---- An auto-mapper and/or the ability to 'secure' (at least some) rooms somehow (possibly turning on some extra local lights?) would help a bit with the backtracking since at least you'd know you don't need to spend time walking a certain way. Changing the highlight on used searchables would help prevent time wasting, too; having different highlight colors for computers (and possibly doors for completeness) would be good in the beginning when you're not sure which items are which.

My biggest issue is probably the slow movement speed. Sure, it adds to the atmosphere at first, but it makes any backtracking I have to do get really boring, to the point where, when I go down the more-direct path of a level that's split at the beginning, I just jump in the portal instead of exploring the rest of the level like I want to.

Ah, I actually blinked and missed the text about the FBI informant on the initial screen. That situation almost sounds like it calls for civillians milling about for you to not shoot, heh. ---- Oh, and I didn't end up using enough grenades to get a feel for it, but it didn't look like they had a radius larger than the shotgun. I would expect them to be 1.5-2.5 times that to be worth having.

Hm ... it gets old pretty fast. The shotguns, IMO, are by far the best weapons. The reload is pretty fast and it's easy to hit with; the super shotgun one-shots everything through wave 31. The super shotgun and chaingun are except for damage done; you can't even tell which one is selected visually. At least the pistols are a little different; with them, I just had trouble clicking on people's heads and not hitting them. ---- There are some layering issues with the upgrade menu's slide-open info thingies, and only three of the upgrade items have them; looks kind of unfinished. ---- And, um, why is the mob sending thousands of unarmed guys to damage the revolving doors of my(?) hotel with their fists? Silly handwaving would be fine ... :)

Aha, there is a motorcycle tag. *Adds*. Feels like an old sprite-based racing game done in higher-res art. Like the pseudo-halftoned backgrounds, and the general sense of silly in the help texts and item info and such. ---- Only a couple levels I didn't finish on the first try (mostly dark passage; including one time where I hit the finish line but exploded before the braking was finished, apparently), but I only got two achievements on the first pass, so that's probably a good balance. Items are kind of hard to pick up; and I can't figure out why I usually don't get the turbo above the jump pad also in dark passage. That probably is my "most hated" level ;). ---- ... And why are there trees growing out of the road?

I also had a weird problem with the shotgun reloading; it looked like I had infinite ammo but it stopped shooting after a bit, but could still be reloaded. Also, the firing sound changed after the first time it happened. [br] ---- Also, the scoring is kind of confusing. It's either exponentially curved or only the upper half/third of possible number of hits count, because it's easy to hit a good third or more of the targets and get a 0% at the end. Also, the "100 Perfect!" that pops up on each hit seems to be the only option, so I'm not sure why the "100" is even there. [br] ---- Finally, it seems to be impossible to hit a target that's even slightly started to fold away, even when it seems like you should have hit the remaining visible portion of it. This probably dosen't help the shuriken; I couldn't really figure out how to use that one well in one try.

Didn't play long enough to run into any glitches myself. The controls are very clunky; there are all these buttons onscreen that I can't click with the mouse, I get locked into acting with one person all at once and can't change my mind, it's hard to tell where I need to go to be in position to do something or if it's possible, my guys lay down or kneel sometimes but I don't seem to be able to order it or quite figure out the rules. The story mode also seems to be laking a story, and the help pages suffer from some writing and a few layout issues. That all said, there's enough promising-ness here to make me want to check out sequels (since I heard about them in the comments) and see what's been done with them :).

Ok, I'm used to the "Play More Games" menu options and such, but "Watch PC game videos" is kinda strange. Feels a lot like an ad with a minigame thrown in. Not totally sure it's possible to reach every area in every map. And it somehow decided that my run was over on the pinball map while I was still falling in midair, touching nothing but maybe the bike (also falling).

I figured out that infantry (plus infantry with bag?) cause a gain in money but I couldn't figure out how the computer had ten times as much money as me at most times. Not sure what the bomber is good for. Enemy sometimes starts by doing a sequence volley of missiles that I don't have an option for. And finally, why is my money counter on their side of the field and vice versa?
