Someone explain to me why people are asking how to do self explanatory tricks... "How do you do a spin? Or an invert?" Um... you spin. And you... um... invert. PLUS the carpark has a guide already. Jeez
Guide to all players:
Right at the start, when you have the money, get the $50 gun so you don't get overrun in the first few waves. Do NOT jump on top of the car. Instead, jump around the map over zombies and continuously fire at them. If they hit you once in a while, it's ok.
When you level, grab the extra exp and extra money skills. Then, when your exp starts to pile up a lot, you can get the hp regen skills. Lowest priority is the car HP increase skill.
When you have enough money, get the UZI. This will hold off zombies for many waves. When you find yourself unable to hold them off, you will be able to afford the M16, and later the AK47 thanks to the businessman maxed upgrade.
Afterwards, just get the most expensive gun that you can afford when you find yourself too weak. Also, remember to max the HP pack skill so that later, when you enter the shop, it pauses the game and you can buy the health pack to recover HP.
Rate up so people can see this :D
If an upgrade that allows your penguins to walk through walls exists, all the other upgrades would mean nothing since it counteracts the braindead AI!
Seriously though, the AI is definitely the most frustrating part of the game.
I think the reason why the curtains close is because they don't want you to see the monstrous transformation in which the hero grows 4 arms and 3 heads and equips your helmets and weapons :P
The biggest problem in this game is the boss every 10 levels. Its HP is so high that it is illogical to not save up for Energy Infuser upgrades. To all players out there, if you kill the boss, you get 3 points in Bonus Upgrades, so it is best to always look out for the Energy Infuser Upgrade!
Question: Is it normal for your AI to trade a piece with 8 move options for my mediocre 3 move option piece?
I have a rating of 1800 in real chess, and trading a queen for a pawn sounds dumb. Or is it just me...? ;P
Great game on the whole. AI improvements will massively increase the fun involved! :D
"He knifed the boss" yelled the supposedly professional bodyguard, "this is unfortunate" continued he.
"I didn't find him" concluded his companion. "Let's just hang around here and defend the boss' corpse."
LOL where do you find these people!? XD
Would be nice to have a "End Battle" button that simply ends the level with the current raid count so that when you already have Gold you can just get the hell out ;P
Personal opinion would be that it would be kinda cool to have a powerup or something that lets you kill guards. Game is simple and addictive, and overall gameplay is smooth. Although sometimes illogical, game is very fun! :D
Wonderfully planned game with engaging dialogue and a nice light hearted slight romance touch.
The action is as expected, with some weapons being innovative and unique.
Only resentment: Ginny. Ginny > all the other girls in my opinion ;)
Keep it up! :D
Excellent game in both concept and gameplay.
Just a question. Is it just me, or are the Poison Water spells perfect for every situation?
If you agree, click the plus sign so new players who want to finish the game easier can choose the right race :D
Once again thanks for creating a creative and entertaining game, Nerdook! We certainly need more game designers like you.
I would just like to add some comments about how the game could be greatly improved now.
First, instead of randomly generating new floors, it would be more strategic if traps, gems and such like were random, but monsters placed by the player. This way, there is more control over the game, and players rely on skill to get the Platinum Rating as opposed to luck.
Second, if the adventurers could be programmed to not 'disappear in a blue puff of smoke' for no apparent reason, maybe they would actually reach the Red Dragon like they're meant to.
Lastly, if we could place gold on tiles with things on them, we would be able to control the adventurers' movements much more effectively.
If these changes are implemented, then congratulations Nerdook, you will have one of the best games ever created on Kongregate.
AWESOME GAME! REALLY ENJOYED IT. i love how u can select your own paths and decide for yourself the results of the game :)
here's what i ended with:
Name: Silence
Clan: Chaos Desert
Side: black
Position: GREAT MAGE
Book Of Mages Ranking: 7
Fame: Legend (342)
Reputation: Satan (-189)
I think the option for selling should be added, but should only be available in between waves. That way, juggling becomes impossible so it retains the strategic aspects :)
This being said, I think that the time in between waves should be increased slightly to help people sell and build new towers. Just a thought :)
