Addicting and fun game, but some of the awards seem a bit counter-intuitive. Losing consecutively means losing on purpose which is just boring clicking. Also, after having played 200 games, I have 119/120 awards. Farming 300 more games to get the last award is such a long and boring grind. It does not require any skill, it's all about putting in a huge amount of time which in my opinion sucks a bit of the fun out of it.
Highly addictive! I found such a difficult puzzle game to be really fun and I hope you continue to make such great games. The puzzles are not so complicated, yet they pose such entertaining challenges.
The game is great, but a bit too short in my opinion. When you finally get the hang of it and unlock all the cards so you can make any deck you want, there isn't more to accomplish. This game could have been incredible with some more content. Perhaps a computer AI with a random colored deck or player vs. player matches.
Nice game, but the music bugged for me. On the second level, the game played two songs at once which was annoying. When I reached the third level, three songs were playing simultaneously which drove me insane.
Great game, but I was sick of the song Disturbia by the time I reached level 8. I'd love for the game to have a couple extra songs, although the mute button and Winamp is a solution as well. :)
"Eric is impressed." Yes, that was quite random. Great game. Simple and entertaining. The ingame achievements makes you want to play the levels again to get them and also add to the difficulty level.
How can you make this without insisting or even suggesting that people put some effort into their games. If people follow this, Kongregate is going to get spammed with worthless games without decent gameplay, graphics, storyline, sound-scheme or anything else.
Not really as hard as the creators claim it is, although the expert chapter did produce some challenges. Being able to skip levels were not really necessary difficulty-wise, but it does make it possible to complete the game with less time consumption for those players who look to Flash games for purely casual gaming.
I really enjoyed the gameplay and being a child of the Nintendo 8-bit generation, the precision jumping appealed to me and brought back memories. :)
A Game without a mute button always gets ducked a point, regardless of how proud the creators are of their music.
Darx and Haddock:
Helene was a bit too strong before she was nerfed. She had her hitpoints reduced and her best attack uses more energy now than she did a few patches ago. Now I find her to be quite balanced. She is strong in her specialized areas, but not too hard to beat unless your deck is overly specialized in physical attacks which makes your deck too situational to win consistently.
Smooth controls and gameplay, but the game gets monotonous when it's only about getting the max amount of points in 90 secs and only has one level to play on.
