The question for how long she was dead had the wrong answer, answer was = 1 minute
Then immediately Dregg says "at least 1 minute" which implies it should've been ">1 minute" that should've been the correct answer.
Is this game supposed to be considered hard? Last level was a bit tricky but most levels was quite simple. I enjoyed it.
There seemed to be issues with either memory leaks or game is just very heavy, because it eventually started go very slow.
If I made the main mode harder, some people would literally want to kill me. I've reworked the levels a bunch of times and still lot of people perceive it as hard...
About the game being very slow, this hurts me right in my heart. I've coded this game from scratches, optimized it to the ground and made all the assets in pixel art so that it could be as light as possible and run 60 FPS.
Can you tell me via PM or by editing the comment, if you're playing on a laptop and if it was disconnected from the charger? battery mode kills the performance in my case, while when it's charging I can run multiple instance of my game at the same time, without the slighest effort from the CPU.
Please, I'd be glad to solve this issue and I want to know more about what causes it, anyway thanks for your report :)
The control feels inprecise, you often need to move forward on the screen to avoid being pushed by end of screen. In the air you do the dash by pressing forward, while in water you just move forward.
Overall this made it feel very awkward to move. You should probably have done something about being pushed by screen/free movement in water.
The miners is SUPER-OP, especially in combination with the physics lab. Gives you a super-strong start with OK offensive, OK defensive AND extremely strong economy. This means you can get out capital ships very early, and build up several physics labs. Once you have 4-5 of them ,and like 9 fighter bays with miners there simply is miners all over the map like a grasshop-swarm eating everything giving you more energy. Once you get out your capital ship, nothing can stop you.
Could the colour wheel be changed to be more logical? Having it like RBY every second, and then the mix colours inbetween? That or RGB every second instead.
The game is highly luck based, which becomes frustrating. Especially the final boss is highly luck based. You need your companions to kill him pretty much, if either of them die you will lose, because you'll get overwhelmed by enemies.
His attack patterns are random based and his pentagram attack have low counter-play and high damage, which kills off you and your companions fast.
His spawn minion attack is base for how easy you deal damage to him, your companions will not attack him overly much as long as there are minions around, and if he spams minions you barely deal any damage, and your companions will probably die to minions.
Wohoo! I finally beat the game on hardest difficulty with all stars! The game was great it challenged me alot. I had to switch tactics several times, because some enemies was too good vs some units etc. Damn good game, it was a bit too long but I still played whole of it!
Hardest difficulty is fairly hard. I've played for hours and have soonish beaten first chapter :|
At first I found the game a bit shallow because you couldn't control your units, then I realized that the game just plays differently to say Epic War, that the type of tactics you have to use are different.
