Why do people need rewards for the challenges? Isn't beating the challenge itself a reward? It's a way to make the game harder, and to be make it more varied, since you can't just stick to your normal playstyle. I think they add fun!
I love the choose your own adventure games, but this one just have too much low quality text. I realize I don't care about the character, and that there is long and not very interesting dialogues...
It's intentional that the main character starts out being unlikeable. I'm still undecided about whether this was a good decision, but it's kind of important to the plot that he have a lot of negative characteristics. He redeems himself a bit in some of the paths, but maybe those took too long to reach. Sorry you didn't like it!
meh this game have NOTHING what made MC2 a good game. This is just ANOTHER topdown shooter, there is hundreds of them on kong.
What made MC2 good was that it was different, you had a mech and walked around, you had side objectives and everything, it was a cool game.
Here we have a bland shooter, with nothing unique to it.
On Moonsnail/Sunsnails giga form using your shell for defense makes it ALOT easier. You can dodge most of his attacks using it over and over again, making the boss a breeze.
"Hello! We think you're too dumb to even get the most simplest things, so we are gonna guide you throughout the game! You just aquired a new abilty, if you use it here, there and there, then you'll get the next ability!"
Lol! Gained hard badge before medium badge xD Delhi is the only one really hard to get gold on IMO. You need to be fast AND careful, to get enough kills.
Make the 'heavy melee units' do 10 damage! That would make things harder! And somehow make the enemies 'notice' you even outside fog of war, right now it's too easy to just battle a few at a time.
Force the players to actually use some of the skills to surive, just do something to make things harder.
