After five rapid succession clicks I finally saw a map before it kicked back to load screen... again. This is a severe issue making the game unplayable. If I could give less than one star while leaving a rating, I would.
I actually enjoyed the learning curve, the specific tower placement required, and the specific upgrade paths necessary. It is more of a puzzle/strategy, but I can see it losing replay value in time. Suggested updates: Bonus for early completion (early wave rushes), the ability to sell a tower that is more hindrance than benefit, perhaps more variety of enemies.
I despise games that do not realize that people still use desktops and laptops, not just tablets. The game screen cannot be seen in it's entirety on non-tablets.
I cannot state specifically why this has become my favorite idle game, but it has. Perhaps it is due the the perfection of straightforward, progressive design.
"little performance improved. Sorry, but the game requires a powerful computer." I think what you meant to say was that the game requires a powerful engine, possibly on the backend system. To that, I say it sounds as if you know just enough about game design to make a useless gae that is unplayable but looks interesting initially. It is akin to knowing enough about a language to ask where the bathroom is and then tell a man's wife she looks like a horse but not much else. In other words, it has one purpose, to frustrate the users.
Kongreate should have never applied badges to this game without first severely testing the game.
Personally, it doesn't matter what improvements have been made in the game since it's first incarnation. If you can still not get past the lag issue or the overuse of resources then you haven't learned a thing about game creation since those are the same two issues carried over from the first game in this series. 1 star until fixed, if you are ever able to at all.
two stars for now. Add a reduced/minimum offline idle ability, more ability to purchase new units for rp rather than such incredibly high stagger rates, and the ability to capture more than 30-35% of the particles save for the large variety and I will gladly update rating.
Travel an hour, work eight, travel another hour to return home. Check on my progress before going to sleep and ... what's that? No progress at all? Oh this is fun.
I know HungryHippo will fix it in no time, just frustrating to see nothing change in the near half day I was away... Was hoping to build huge today. Guess that is out of the question.
Truly a nice, quick, fun, and increasingly challenging game. I agree with others on a few things: A slight pause between levels, well executed and CAN'T WAIT FOR A SEQUEL.
Truly an inspired effort if this is a first game for a youth. If this is not the case, it is utter garbage. Poorly functioning controls with improper run paths in design and function.
From the well executed introduction to the fun and interesting gameplay (not overly complex, but far from overly easy) this has been one of the more interesting games to hit Kongegrate for some time. Good job. 5/5
Fun game for all ages. Sat here with my nephew watching him play until it became more and more difficult for him. He asked me to take over and I found I was having just as much fun as he playing the more advanced levels while listening to him shout things like "Be careful... watch for the turn!" Thanks for the shareable fun.
I agree with everything said, especially having ALL the upgrades and STILL FALLING SHORT of target by a scant few feet, several times.
1. Fix auto Target on gun. 2. Allow interchangeable upgrades. 3. repair the broken physics in the game. Until changes are made: 2/5
Very similiar to 'Company of myself' but with a much better story and no need for replication effects. Just a straight forward simple strategy on each level. 5/5
