I poured stats into atk speed after realizing how it's lower than all the others, but I'm not sure if the rate of lvl up slows down by then, and the option to up that stat isn't always there, so by lvl 46 I only have 197 atk speed, which is low compared to 10369 damage and 16248 armor.
Early game, it's safe to skip turns, so I made it so that curiosity most likely turns into itself or muse, and baking most likely turns into apple pie.
Permanent runes aren't necessary either, because rune formulas sell for 0 silver, and some people have crystal left over after maxing out buildings. Personally, I want the option to pay kreds and instantly get max VIP level, without getting any gold or recharge cards, because cards will keep power creeping anyway, and gold can be earned daily without spending money.
Could you make it so that null has less attack and no ambush? It's main purpose is to go face and delay, and would be a priority threat even without the extra damage. Killing a target that can't play its cards anyway is redundant, and feels mismatched, if you compare it to petrify, which makes an enemy creature useless but tanky. Null should make you feel slow, because by making it harder to play cards, your hand could fill up and block card draw, extending games, whereas Jaraax discards your deck, shortening games, which makes sense for it to be impatient and capable of abruptly returning to your hand.
I think we should be able to spend 10,000 fame to recover a missed calendar day. There's no rush to upgrade the pet yard, and if you miss an ambrosia you can just get more fame for feeding less powerful pet food. However, the last day rewards often include vault/character slot unlockers, and if you miss these you won't be able to keep up with the power creep (a char slot + backpack lets you hoard 16 more marks)
Tip for surviving 3 minutes: When you are over the ocean, stay near the lower portion of the screen so you only collect strays that are about to go out of sight. With the poseidon upgrades, you can't die over the sea anyway, and strays can't collide with planes until you collect them. Remove the hive mind upgrade so your flock can spread out more, and not put all your eggs in one basket (you only need one flock member to survive to avoid having to use your phoenix lives)
I think players should be able to trade massive amounts of fame for gold whenever they have less gold than a new player does, because mule owners can just make new accounts for the free gold anyway.
Upon getting the wealthy monkey achievement before reaching moon, there should be a consolation ending where Monty just gives up all the horded bananas to get a GF.

planning ahead does help, such as remembering what tiles would be freed each time you remove something, so you don't have to search the whole board again.
But yeah, every step you make is progress towards solving the puzzle, and there's no need to hesitate upon seeing a free tile.
following vicreo's guide, charge towards stunned enemies and punch while the other enemies' bullets are aimed at the place you're going. You stop in front of the enemy for a double punch, and the bullets will pass while you're punching, which takes a bit of time just like walking does.
