Thanks for the rest of the comments though; I think the dialogs could be shrunken or even converted into an animated sequence to engage the player without requiring them to hit enter all the time - and allowing key repeats is also a good idea I guess; I just thought it was an interesting mechanic that you ACTUALLY got tired from playing the game in the same way you would if you were actually swinging an axe and the fact that the swigning gets better as you go (maybe hard to experience in the demo) is rewarding :-D.
And yes; Motherload did steal some of my ideas :-D.
I thought it would be better to be upfront about the 10 minute nag than it just randomly pop up but I might make it a bit longer and remove the warning - maybe it does put people off.
Thanks for everything so far, keep the comments coming in!
Interesting to see the comments about paying for the game; I wonder if there's another "line" that can be straddled such as having a "full" game and then a "premium" game where you get extra tools and fun side challenges? Although flash has been primarily used for free games in the past I think the fact that it's so easy to play (no download, no install, play anywhere) means there's nothing wrong with paying for a game and having access to it online so long as the content is worth paying for - I admit this is just a demo so there are many many features that have been removed (I need to keep somthing worth paying for) so it's always a little hard to judge until you see the final thing.
256 days!!! HA What are the odds of that?
Great game - a bit easy towards the end but I guess that's where the challenge of doing it in lesser days comes into play.
Although completely stable I found it starting to get laggy; Not sure if that's just flash on linux or whether anyone else experienced that.

Oops, should be fixed now. To limit initial confusion you're limited to the tools you have available during the first levels - small "feature" that broke this on the first level :-D.
Appologies for any inconvenience caused.
Next version should have a nice tutorial page to explain all the ins and out of the gates with working examples; Figured I'd open it up now and start getting people interested :-D.
