I encountered a strange and mostly unpleasant bug. I finally managed to max out my Boot Camp and since then the game won't start. It loads, but after that the message "Initializing Boot Camp" just stays. Tested on 2 different devices and 2 browsers, and when I log out of my Kong account the game starts just right... Any suggestions?
Hey, just sorted you out and added 50x 3h TWs for the lost time & inconvenience. It's what we call "BC e308" issues, which can happen in some occurrence and breaks BC for some people when reached, and we have to manually apply a fix to your save state.
The last boss is pretty easy to beat with all characters maxed out and full runes. There's quite a bit of grinding, true, but here is where those stupid non-hero quests come in. Just select the most rewarding one which your friends can beat, start the game and do whatever else you have to do, you don't have to watch the battle. Check the game every 2 or 5 minutes to replay the level (or change it after levelling up some) and you'll have your money pretty quickly.
OK, I finally made it, thanks to @Dedrood comment. Two things:
1. This game is stupid, as many already mentioned ;)
2. It's actually easier to make the hard badge on the next to the last competition, because the game is stupid (the arrows speed up so much) and you can rather easily get all the upgrades by then. I beat the game, but made 7k then and not on any run of the last competition.
Hmm, daily puzzle fails to load even though http://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0020/4650/live/dailyPuzzle.xml seems to be all right and have the puzzle for today. Anyone with the same problem?
Something's definitely wrong after today update: there's no sound/music in game and after each battle won I have to refresh the page - the game is stuck on the win screen with Quit/Play again buttons greyed out and unresponsive. Fortunately the win is accounted for properly. Tested in Opera and FF. Everything seems to be OK after losing or quitting the game.
I have to say it's a long time since I felt so helpless playing the game. There's something terribly wrong with this game control and/or display, I feel I pretty much don't control anything.
The music is nice though... :)
@ACiDNiNE: unfortunately this time @tamaii needs to update the file. If you check for puzzle IDs they're the date of a puzzle and the file available right now contains puzzles from 2017-09-27 till 2017-10-07.
@RoseyLemonDrops: x-marks do (or at least can) protect you from misclicks, you just have to mark Safe Mode 1 in Options - first either unlock it by solving puzzles or use the Unlock button if you don't care for the feeling of progress.
Hmm, after the first non-tutorial battle (I think) the game seems to be frozen - music plays, there are some small animations like waves, but the only thing responsive is options menu, otherwise I can click anywhere with no noticeable effect. Anyone else has this problem (and a solution preferably ;))? Safari, Win 7
@EvilJon: play the tutorials. I mostly skipped them at the beginning, since I wanted badges. Then I started to play more and also couldn't figure out the deck/bank details - so I played the tutorials again. They're really helpful.
I have to say army in this game is portrayed in a very... professional way. I can just see the article in newspaper: "A wacko on the highway jumping from a car to the motorbike and back to a truck, beating the owners to a pulp and stealing their vehicles. The police was powerless to stop him, so they called the army. As soon as the crazy man saw a tank he run up to it, jumped on top, ripped its armour open with his bare hands and dragged the crew outside to give them solid beating. The four soldiers stood no chance against such rage!!!". True story ;)
@tk1500: there are puzzles named "Bob Dylan" and "Brexit" in 2016 daily pack - you got a badge after completing each of them. Haven't gotten the other 2 so far.
For people having lags: try changing the browser. I had very serious lags on VasantJ's games in FF (Win 7), but they all run smoothly in Chrome.
About the game itself: great, I really like your work and sense of humor. I have mixed feeling about those mini-games though. For this short adventure they were rather OK, a change of pace. If it was longer I'm afraid they'd get tedious for me. But - mini-games or not - it's an easy 5/5 in my book :)
I changed my mind a bit - loading times is probably FF issue, in Chrome it works fine. Unfortunately now I'm less inclined to tag it as "nice game" overall...
