I really like the game and I can't wait to see where it goes. However, I feel that the Lantern of Recovery may need a little more attention. I really like the idea that you get 60% of what you would normally get, so that you slowly get more and more each recall. It totally makes sense in terms of idle gameplay. It does however just get really, really slow in power gain, which may not be a problem but I've watched it for a while and I've had a few moments where I'd die a zone or two earlier than I normally would. This ends up sort of "resetting" the potential power gain. Maybe after every 10 or 15 recalls 20% of the potential power is added to your regular power? (Sorry if this isn't feasible, I just didn't want to not offer any suggestion!) But I really do like the game! I just feel that the idle aspect of it could be greater!
Thanks for the great feedback! The Idler's Kit in the shop ups the Lantern retention to 75%. If you do the math on it, this doubles the effectiveness of the Lantern. This is the first thing most players save up for. That aside, you have a great point about potentially losing more than you gain. Periodically gaining some of your collected Power is feasible, but what I want to avoid is the ability to idle for a week, then come back and have skipped many zones. Instead, after idling for a week, you'll find that the spells in your loadout have ranked up, increasing their damage, giving you new options, and allowing you to get back the pain-point you were at without as much trouble. If you only log in once a day for the critical raid and to rank up spells, and do that for a few months, the game will become far, far easier due to the massive levels of your spells. I'll love to discuss more - feel free to post on the reddit about this!
