I died because I couldn't buy armor to heal myself anymore :( Need to be able to continue buying armor after it hits max lvl (even if it's just for the heal).
I'm sorry but idiot team mates shouldn't be the reason why a game goes from easy difficulty to hard difficulty. I find that about half of the alien campaign maps would be better if I was just playing by myself with no allies.
This feels more like a dating site with an artillery game added to it than an artillery game trying to do something "unique". I'm tired of how important it is to pay if you want to stand a chance. More than that though I'm really sick of playing against opponents who are 2 to 3 times my level, there is absolutely no way to win a match like that. At least there's bonus experience in it for you because you played a "tough match". Another thing, why do you have to be level 15 to enter the firing range? New players to the game here's my advice: A) If you are here for a fun, challenging, multiplayer artillery game, go somewhere else like shellshock live. B) If you are here for more of a community aspect, maybe this game is for you. C) If you are just trying to get the badge, focus on completing the tasks and get used to losing. Good luck.
This game was excellent, the extra trophies and cards were actually quite challenging. I'd like to see more levels or another game. Oh and the soundtrack was really good.
I feel like I only log on anymore to go to other players' towns and hopefully find some chests. The sheer amount of materials required to create items anymore, paired with the ridiculously high need for limited use tools has slowed this game to a crawl for me. I was able to get through most levels in the peaks without TOO much trouble, but the barrows are so dependent on hammers/spears/hacksaws. I understand this is the type of game you play a bit each day, but right now I'm looking at clearing 1 dungeon every 2-3 days and I only get that much because of all the players who keep 1 hp chests sitting in their towns (thank you very much guys).
Needs more lower level dungeons to help players build up materials, perhaps some daily regenerating/randomizing levels too?
This game would be MUCH better if you could choose who abilities would affect instead of having the game randomly select targets. The game has enough random chance built into several of the abilities; fly, immobilize, jam, evade, etc. I lost count of the number of matches I lost because my units won't do the smart thing and focus their abilities to bring down a high priority target that goes on to win the game for my opponent.
If you are having trouble with the achievements, try unlocking colored mode first then starting a game in that mode. I did that and it earned me both achievements.
A good concept with fun gameplay elements, but that's all it had going for it. The storyline was not deep enough to get the feeling I believe was intended and the "minor bugs" made a number of the levels very aggravating. I can't count the number of times I died from a sudden lag spike or a glitchy landing. That latter issue is a serious problem for platformers like this and I strongly recommend reconsidering your stance on editing this game. As it stands I almost didn't bother playing through the whole game, but I did and the ending was well... Whatever, if the bugs were fixed this game could be a solid 4/5, as it is now, I'm thinking 2.5/5 but I'll round up.
Gets a little annoying when your heroes split up to check different paths, and only one or two end up going to the next floor. Then they either waste everything and steal all the exp or you have to cut the trip short so they don't get killed off. I'd recommend incorporating a tiny AI that allows heroes to remember which paths are dead ends or recognize when they're traveling in circles. It would also be nice to be able to choose what heroes are in your team. Maybe as a sort of sandbox mode unlocked after beating the game.
