Ok, loads of bugs and problems.
Stats not updating properly.
No way to mute just the music.
No way to see your accumulated research bonuses.
No indication of how much speed buying an engine gets you.
Research bonuses unclear, looks like a bunch of off-by-one errors.
Two descriptions for Earth on the stats screen.
The first one is cut off due to lack of space.
The second one is on the moon.
The description of the moon is on Mars.
The description for Mars is on Ceres.
Just, all in all, a great game idea ruined by craptons of problems and a system that goes from interesting to boring in five minutes. It could have been so much more.
Great game, as usual, but I'm finding that playing with the keyboard is causing it to lock buttons very often. Like, I'll release the left arrow and keep sliding left until I quickly hit it again. I've been launched right into bosses with no control. I think there's flash code you can use to keep this from happening.
In any case, it makes high-level bullet hell play impossible with the keyboard, which is a shame because that's really the only way you CAN play with any precision, unless you use a controller.
Gonna have to dig out my gamepad! :P
This game is unplayable. Losing destroys your save, forcing you to play with a destroyed base when you reload. I've wasted hours on this game. If you were going to make it perma-death, you should have said so.
Re: Malfar's issue with the shelf in the second city.
Your response was "sorry for the issue".
That's not enough. It'd be trivial to fix. You're counting on us for viewership and ratings. Please take the five minutes to code a fix.
There's no way to meet Lois in Pullid Camp. If you try, you'll miss her. If you try again, you'll miss her again. And then, there's no more chances. Congrats. A whole bunch of cleavers and crossbow bolts wasted, no chance to advance the plot without siding with slavers. Game over.
Eff your game. Eff Lois. Eff you. 1/5 stars forever.
Ok, so I'm actually looking at the Chicago Tribune Archives. I'm staring right at page 23 in the August 13, 1931 issue. There are no ads. It's the stock section.
Did I think TOO out of the box?
There should be some way to regain energy besides using potions. Otherwise you can run out completely and then can't even swing a weapon. You just have to die or move on.
A big problem I see is that when enemies are tossed back in front of a Hog Grill by a Spring Board, they don't get burned again, which is almost the entire point of the spring board.
This is weird because I'm actually very well versed in philosophy, but none of what's wrong with Euthyphro's position seems to be available to challenge it with. Did I miss an idea somewhere, or am I meant to just press all the buttons until I hit whatever was going through the programmer's mind at the time?
The little seeker bug "powerup" is worse than useless. When I see more than one of them I just restart the level, because I know it will be impossible to kill anything. Sometimes the circles'o'doom spawn INSIDE the things, and become invincible, because they can't reduce them below a certain size and always convert all of your bullets.
